Here you can unwind on the leather sofas, enjoy the glow of the woodburning stove, or settle in front of the Smart TV after a day exploring the Dorset landscape.
The country‑style kitchen is well‑equipped for your self‑catered stay, complete with ample preparation space and a dedicated dining area, while the modern bathroom offers a spacious walk‑in shower.
Outside, the property is surrounded by a lovely communal courtyard, with access to an on-site swimming pool complex available during school holidays.
An allocated parking space is provided in the shared car park.

This cottage is in a good location but be patient on the single track access road.
The cottage was okay but is looking a bit tired and could do with some tlc.Thexrain shower head switch was missing so you could only use the wand but water was good and hot.Tray dies not drain quickly so water starts to lap over the top of the tray (I had already cleaned the trap for them.) Bed linen and towels were clean and rest of property had been surface cleaned but it could do with a deep clean.Too many utensils and mugs, chipped dishes and random assortment of cutlery that along with mugs needs a visit to a dishwasher. Has been a stunning property in 80s but now tired.Swimming pool was good but again the shower in the complex needs attention.(wand hose split and broken and tray could do with an upgrade. Shared courtyard means very close proximity to other guests but listing does say shared. The giant fir sale 7 cottages board on arrival did not feel welcoming. We enjoyed our stay despite the issues listed but felt it was overpriced for what was on offer .
We had a very pleasant stay.
The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well presented throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, which made the stay comfortable and convenient. The location is excellent, set in a lovely area with a peaceful atmosphere. There are nice tables and chairs outside, which are perfect for sitting in the sun and relaxing. There is also an indoor pool available on site, although we didn’t use it during our stay. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay, and we would happily return.

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed the sunshine at Forde Abbey, Lyme and some lovely beaches. The pool is a lovely add-on and we enjoyed the arrival bag to- excellent touches.
