What guests are saying
We stayed here with teenagers and it works well as it’s central with lots of bedrooms.
Would not advise staying with young children as stairs are very steep and there are many of them! It is also on a busy road and, because of the age and listing of the property, the beautiful windows do not block out noise so you will hear people most of the night and early morning. It’s a fun place to stay and we had a great weekend but it’s not the place to choose for a restful retreat!
Great location, lots of space, comfy rooms, all great thanks!
We were generally happy with the property.
The response of the team when there was a plumbing issue was good. The internet speed is exceptionally slow; the router is an extension of the shop below. We couldn’t download any films. Thankfully we had good weather so weren’t in the house much, however with a couple of rainy days and a house full, this would be very frustrating. We did email about the Wi-Fi connection ( had to do it from outside the house, it’s that slow) but received no reply from Lyme Bay holidays, which was disappointing.
