Whiteleaf Cottage

Lovely stay in whiteleaf cottage.

I think over the years we have stayed four times in all. Things have been updated only for the good. Also its position is ideal for the high street- Broad street. Only addition would be good for me is an extra handrail on the left hand side going up the stairs as I have a dodgy left knee. Overalla super stay. Pauline

Lovely cottage in a great location right near the centre.

Facilities are good and cleanliness was excellent. Parking was ok although it is a steep 5 minute walk to the cottage. Lyme Regis is a really nice place for a short break.

Lovely compact cottage.

Well presented. Perfect for a couple, would be quite a tight squeeze for 4 adults. For light sleepers bring earplugs for the master bedroom. It’s very comfortable however the single glazed windows mean that you will be party to all the cheerful friendly locals heartily wishing each other good morning and gossiping from 7am

It our 2nd stay and definitely will book again.

Real Gem

This is our 4th visit to Lyme Regis and Whiteleaf cottage is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in whilst in the lovely Jurassic Coast.

Location is excellent and fantastic that it came with parking (5 min walk away). Kitchen was well appointed and space worked well for our family of four plus pup. Would stay again

A very cosy clean cottage I hope to stay again in the future

Overall this cottage is a lovely place to spend a few days.

It was beautifully presented and very comprehensively equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here. Minor niggles would be the size of bed 2 and the TV. Oh! and the walk from the car park up to the cottage will live long in the memory and the legs! Thanks for a lovely break!

Well equipped, lovely decor and a brilliant location.

The only very small criticism is the large drop in the garden which nearly caught out our small dog. It meant we couldn’t let her out without supervision. The same goes for my granddaughter. It wasn’t a big problem though. The cottage itself was lovely and I’d happily stay there again.

This accommodation is quite pleasant but it should be noted if anyone has mobility issues then maybe this is not an ideal location.

The venue was difficult to find from the directions. The cottage as detailed is down a pedestrian road only but to offload your luggage you have to park in a busy main no parking road Also the designated car park supplied is a good 10 minute walk and is up and down extremely steep hills. Also Lyme Regis again is very steep and has in places very narrow pavements. So this for us proved difficult for walking our dog and would also be difficult for people as stated with mobility issues.

Lovely property, clean and tidy and in a great location.

Lovely cottage and a nice quirky feel, generally clean overall but some general maintenance and upkeep required to make it more acceptable

The cottage was lovely and perfectly placed for all amenities HOWEVER….

We were unaware that the neighbours would be undergoing building works and we were disturbed at 9am on the dot every morning by drilling, sanding and hammering through the walls. My Autistic son found this quite distressing! We were also unaware that we would be sharing a back garden. On two separate occasions (that we are aware of) there were people wandering up through the side gate and around the back garden. Having loud conversations ( including fowl language) Again, we found this rather unsettling and intimidating. So yes, a beautiful place to stay but if you’re looking for peace and privacy then this isn’t the place for you unfortunately.

We loved our stay at Whiteleaf.

It’s perfectly situated to walk everywhere. The cottage was clean, warm and had everything you need. The beds are really comfy too! Thanks for having us. We would recommend this cottage highly.

The cottage is in very good position for the shops and a lovely walk through the gardens to the beach.

The cottage is lovely and warm and well fitted out. It is very easy to carry your luggage from the car as it's close to the car park. The bed was a bit hard but would highly recommend the cottage.

Brilliant holiday cottage on a really quaint historic road in Lyme.

The location is absolutely perfect, no need to use the car all week and great to have a parking permit. The cottage has everything you need and it feels like the owners use it as well as it has a real homey feel and brilliant to not feel like a rental. Warm and cosy in the evenings and every cooking utensil you could ever need, would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely cottage, very well equipped, the wine and doggy treats were a very nice surprise.

Only little criticism, would be nice if there was a larger bin in the kitchen and more than one purple bin bag supplied ready for bin day.

A lovely, clean and welcoming cottage perfectly situated for exploring the area and within minutes walk to all the restaurants, pubs and the beach.

We would definitely stay there again if we visited the area.

Whyteleaf Cottage is an outstanding holiday cottage, contemporary and cosy inside, fully equipped with everything you could want and all in great condition.

Linen was immaculate, bed very comfortable, and the little garden is characterful and well presented. The cottage is in an ideal position, on a quiet lane just of the High Street, just a couple of minutes from all the amenities and a scenic short stroll to the bay and beach. We loved the coastline and the whole area, absolutely beautiful. Must also say a big thank you for the generous welcome pack which was lovely and much appreciated.

The property was in a fantastic location.

The property itself was smaller than in the photos but very comfortable especially the beds. The kitchen however was very small and not enough workspace when cooking meals. We really enjoyed are short break and the weather was kind too.

Love the cottage and its location.

If I could change anything, I would have a larger TV at the property. The current one is very small and after a long day at the beach, it’s nice to watch a family film on TV.

Our stay at Whiteleaf Cottage couldn’t have been better.

It is in a super central location in Lyme Regis and is a very well appointed property. Everything one could ask for in a holiday cottage is provided and both double beds are very comfortable. Contact prior to our stay with the owner regarding a pet, via the agent, was very pleasant. Unloading and loading at either end of our stay was easy. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have already booked the cottage for the same week in 2025.

Very comfortable beds with good quality bedding and pillows. Just a short walk through beautiful gardens to the dog friendly beach (subject to the tides) near the Cobb Would definitely recommend and would like to return!

The Cottage is in an excellent position within Lyme Regis to easily walk to the High Street , the lovely Park nearby & the beach .

We loved the town so much we’ve returned within 2 months of our last stay . It’s a delightful place ! If it’s available , there’s a small space beside the Church on the High St , to park & unload luggage , before taking it up the hill to Woodmead Car Park . We loved staying at Whiteleaf Cottage but it definitely needs a larger TV ! The New Year fireworks , The Duck Race & the “Lyme Lunge” ( where hundreds run into the sea in fancy dress !) was amazing & so much fun to watch ! We’ll be back !

Lovely cottage ideally located for our short break.

Lyme is very pretty with amenities on the doorstep which means lots of walking instead of driving!Just what we needed...thank you everyone

Cosy house in A1 location in one of the prettiest (and traffic free) streets in Lyme.

You can load and unload at the top of Broad Street at the end of the lane which is just a few metres from the property. The staircase is only guarded by a single rail so not ideal for small children. A bit overlooked at the back from no. 4 when that is occupied but was vacant on our visit. The microwave is integral to the cooker, so maybe slightly tricky to use. A small issue upon our arrival (a double locked front door with no key for second lock) was solved within 15 minutes by Lyme Bay Holidays. Great info folder. Listen out for the dawn chorus sung mainly by seagulls! Overall we enjoyed a very comfortable and pleasant stay and would definitely return.

What an amazing cottage.

So well appointed, and had everything we could ever need. Lovely touches like dog treats and wine were most appreciated. The cottage is so lovely with a courtyard garden . Just a stones throw from the high street, and just a 5min walk to the beach . The car park is only a 5 min walk. We loved staying here and will most definitely be back.

I recently stayed at Whiteleaf Cottage in Lyme Regis and thought it was charming.

It is in a fantastic location and the cottage itself is beautifully decorated. It was so convenient to take the train from London and the bus directly to Lyme Regis, with the cottage only being 2 minutes walk away from the bus stop. Once there it is in walking distance to the beach and to lovely local restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend a stay in the cottage.

We have loved staying in Whiteleaf Cottage and have found it clean and comfortable as well as enjoying its amazing central location so we could head to the beach

We have had the best the best dew days in Lyme Regis.

The walks, fossil hunting and food have all been amazing! This cottages was exceptional so Thank you! Looking forward to coming back. Celebrating our birthday here has created lots of fabulous memories - even granny stayed for a few days

Ha d a lovely time in this fantastic cottage, lovely walks along the beach and gardens.

Drinks and food in the Cobb arms, Royal Standard and the Volunteer inn. Also a trip to Seaton to ride on the trams and had a meal at the white heart in Colyford. Also enjoyed a bit of shopping at Pug + Puffin. Thank you for the wine, will definitely be returning
