  • "We had a fabulous stay."

The lodge was so comfortable and had everything we needed for our time there. We were welcomed with fresh bacon , eggs, milk and butter on our arrival. It is in a beautiful setting. So peaceful and surrounded by lovely countryside. Just to sit on the terrace and see the wild birds around us was a delight. Lots of options for walking right outside the door. The lodge was clean and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again; didn’t want to leave!

  • "Great lodge, but upstairs shower really needs the anti slip stickers on shower tray."

Great place and we all really enjoyed our stay. Welcome pack was a nice touch too. We will be back!

  • "Had a fantastic 4 night break in a 3-bed luxury lodge at Burnbake near Corfe Castle, Dorset."

The lodge was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and welcoming. The bedrooms all had ample storage, the beds were comfortable. The spacious kitchen, was bright and modern - if somewhat lacking in a washing machine. The lounge was comfortable. I came with 2 bathrooms, the shower was especially good. Outside we had a large hot tub to the rear of the property and a picnic area on the front decking. All-in-all we had a fabulous short break. Would definitely return and recommend.

  • "A wonderful stay in your lodge although the weather could’ve been a bit brighter but that’s not down to you!"

We managed to get out everyday and explore beautiful Dorset…well a little bit anyway given we were there for only five days! The lodge provided everything a 5* hotel would have down to slippers and bathrobe. Loved the rustic wood decor with modern appliances. Very clean everywhere and the bed was very comfortable with a sumptuous duvet. Loved the breakfast starter pack which was gratefully used. Unfortunately, although we packed swimwear to laze in the hot tub, the wet weather was the wrong kind of water to do so!!! Would definitely stay again in the future. Well done and thank you for a ‘restful’ autumn break.

  • "We had an amazing time and definitely will visit again."

Staff all very friendly, very peaceful at this time of the year. The Lodge was well equipped and very spacious, hot tub was amazing. Added extra was laying in bed listening to the Owls & their babies calling each other was a lovely bonus.

  • "Lovely property but unfinished ceiling isn't appealing, and lots of cobwebs everywhere which looked like had been there a while."

Slight mould build up in the upstairs shower room. Looks like that'll be an issue in bathroom downstairs as well unless better extractor fans are installed.

  • "A great lodge for our family weekend away."

Lodge was clean and as stated. If I was being picky it could of done with a larger fridge. But all in all everything you could need. Hot tub was brilliant, we will be returning again.
