The property

St Helena is a beautifully renovated three-bedroom holiday home offering a perfect blend of comfort, style, and seaside serenity, set in the heart of the charming coastal village of Charmouth, in Dorset. Located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast, this welcoming retreat is surrounded by natural beauty and rich geological history.

The home enjoys wrap-around gardens and a stunning glass-balustraded terrace, designed to make the most of its elevated position and breathtaking views.

From here, you can gaze out towards Golden Cap, and as far as Portland on clear days. Inside, the house is light-filled and thoughtfully furnished throughout.

The lounge features large bay windows making the most of the great views and creating a calm and inviting space to relax.

The kitchen and dining area is a bright, sociable space at the heart of the home - perfect for gathering over breakfast, sharing stories from the day, or enjoying a relaxed evening meal.

Patio doors open directly onto the rear garden, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor living, with additional seating just outside for alfresco dining.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, larder fridge, freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, making it as practical as it is welcoming. On the first floor, there are three comfortable bedrooms: a king size room, a double, and a twin that can be made up as a super king on request - ideal for families or friends sharing.

The home also features two bathrooms: one on the ground floor with a shower over the bath, and a sleek upstairs shower room with a walk-in cubicle. St Helena offers parking for two cars, with additional on-street parking nearby, and welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs, so everyone can enjoy the break together. A nearby footpath leads you straight to Charmouth’s famous fossil beach, a favourite for explorers of all ages.

The village itself offers a delightful selection of shops and eateries, including the Charmouth Bakery for fresh crab sandwiches and pastries and Charmouth Stores, perfect for picking up your day-to-day essentials.

For a sit-down meal or a drink, try The Royal Oak or The George, both traditional pubs serving locally sourced food and ales.

When you're ready to explore further afield, popular nearby destinations include the elegant seaside town of Lyme Regis, the dramatic cliffs and harbour of West Bay, and the bustling market town of Bridport, each offering their own unique charm and coastal character. Whether you're here to relax or enjoy a traditional seaside break and take in the sea air, St Helena is a wonderful place to call home during your stay.

There are 13 shallow steps which lead from the parking spaces to the front of the house, with a further 3 steps from the path to the front door.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £350.
