Lovely apartment with great views of Lyme Bay.

We enjoyed our stay, beds are comfortable, bedrooms are good size & the outside terrace is larger than than the pictures show. The living & kitchen area provides what you need. Parking onsite, be considerate & do make friends with those in other apartments, as I sensed from residents its an area of sensitivity. My only suggestion is providing a rectangle or square table, chairs for the terrace & umbrella so you can eat outside where there is more space & enjoy the view. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We missed the fact that a welcome pack was no longer provided (after a long journey it really did used to feel nice finding a few local products waiting, and is still listed on website) as on previous visits, whilst the mattresses need replacing: they lacked support/were uncomfortable to sleep on this time around.

Tired and grubby looking, the bathroom in particular. Lumps of black mould on shower screen, shower head needs thorough clean/replacement. Underside of toilet seat grim and the thing needs replacing. Rusty towel rail. Some hand towels would have been appreciated General cleaning appears to be superficial with little evidence of deeper cleaning As previously mentioned by other guests, there is bare minimum provision re plates, dishes, glassware for four people No dishcloth or pan scrub provided. Please ditch the “welcome pack” and concentrate on the necessities. One toilet roll left for four guests. No bags provided for bed linen and towels. No info re rubbish and recycling. Guest info folder out of date: Mark Hix restaurant closed nine months ago, and there is no Tourist information office in Lyme Regis.We didn’t use the outside area so can’t comment on furniture for there, but it didn’t look to be of great quality or suitable for four people. One last thing to mention is that during our week’s stay there was a persistent noise which appeared to be coming from above the bedrooms, maybe something loose on the roof. This was loud enough to disturb sleep despite the use of ear plugs, and was very disruptive and not conducive to sleep. This really needs to be checked out. We loved Lyme Regis but would not return to this apartment unless these issues were addressed.

A comfy flat in a great situation with beautiful views of Lyme Bay.

It is a shame the terrace itself is so unlovely as it was great to be able to eat out in the sun. I discovered that the cushions for the outdoor sofa were in a disgraceful state, torn and dirty, which spoiled the experience of sitting out. For the money paid details like that should be attended to. My welcome pack was very meagre (one small packet of crisps and two biscuits! I noted other reviews where guests had Prosecco in theirs!) otherwise I enjoyed staying in flat 5.

We absolutely loved our stay at 5 St Michael’s House!

The apartment is spacious and well laid out. The shared areas (hallway, stairs etc…) are beautifully well maintained. The neighbours were quiet and friendly. Parking was easy to access and right outside the front door. The apartment was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, the shower always stayed hot (despite having two teenage daughters who take long showers!). There was plenty of storage in the bedrooms. I loved that the TV was set up with Netflix and Amazon! Most of all, I absolutely adored the terrace and its amazing views!! I could have sat out there all day! We were lucky to have very good weather, most of the time during our stay and I really enjoyed laying on the sun loungers and listening to the sea. It was wonderful. Only improvements would be; please leave more than one toilet roll, more than one tea towel, some surface spray/cleaner and cleaning clothes. Also, a guest book or recommendations book, where people can provide information about local restaurants, places to visit etc… would be nice

We were surprised that there was no fresh milk, Washing up liquid sponge or brush.

No kitchen roll, one toilet roll only 3 small tumblers ( for potentially 4 guests) otherwise wine glasses. The flat however was in lovely position.

We loved the apartment and especially the excellent views from the fantastic decking area.

It’s a lovely comfortable and clean apartment.

The big pull is the deck especially if it’s sunny and the fabulous view from the kitchen and lounge. The only problem was the front bedroom sash window was heavy and got stuck which hurt my back trying to open it. My own fault in pushing it, but it could do with checking out. We would recommend it.

A fabulous place to stay in beautiful Lyme Regis!

The views from the large roof terrace are stunning. The interior is very spacious and comfortable and we loved our week's stay here. The contents of the welcome pack were much enjoyed, thank you! The kitchen is well equipped; we would have liked table mats but that was the only thing we thought was 'missing'. We loved the location and proximity to the town centre and the beautiful Langmoor and Lister Gardens. It's good to have an allocated parking space. We'd love to return for another holiday.

The apartment is comfortable and very clean but lacks some attention to detail.

There are almost no consumables. Please provide plenty of washing up liquid, dish wash tabs and laundry powder. The soap in the bathroom was almost done when we arrived. The welcome basket was teabags and Prosecco! No milk though! The bath towels are small and not very good and there was only one tea towel. Crockery was a bare minimum of one of each item x 4 but in some cases not even 4 of each type of cutlery or glassware were present. There were no bin bags for rubbish. The water temperature runs hot and cold in the shower and the extractor fan needs attention or replacement as it just doesn't work. The wardrobe doors in the twin room are largely obstructed by the beds so you can't open them fully and have to shimmy down a tiny gap to access your clothes. At £1400 plus per week, these omissions/issues seem penny pinching. The view is so spectacular from the deck that people will rebook regardless but given the hosts display their own hotel details in the apartment perhaps they should add a bit more love and attention to No 5 too.

A lovely property with great outside space and gorgeous views.

Allocated parking space, 5 minutes walk to the beach, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and a great location to explore the Jurassic Coast. We would happily go back to this property, and explore some more. Lyme Regis is also beautiful, with great beaches too.

Another lovely week in Lyme Regis.

I have stayed at this property many times over the years and it is in one of the best locations overlooking the bay. the large outside space is an excellent facility, especially if you are feeling like having a lazy day. However, the only thing that lets the apartment down is that the paint on the walls, front door and skirtings is now looking very tired and is badly marked and scuffed, which gives a poor impression on arriving. The windows in the bedrooms need to be looked at. The sash window overlooking the car park is hard to open and if you do manage to get it open it won't stay open and closes under its own weight. The some of the windows in the side bedroom, wouldn't open at all. This might be an issue if the weather is hot. These are minor quibbles, but are the difference between a 4 and 5 star review.

Absolutely brilliant holiday flat - well appointed and with a fabulous balcony overlooking the sea.

The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The welcome pack, in particular, was much appreciated. We shall definitely be booking a return visit.
