    It was clean and comfortable and the provision of a welcome pack is a really nice gesture. Amazing views are a superb bonus. Second time we’ve used Sykes cottage’s and have not been disappointed. Would highly recommend.

  • "Excellent location for both shops/restaurants and the cobb."

    The apartment has off road parking, which is a major selling point for Lyme Regis Not particularly spacious, but very clean and comfortable. Ideal base to enjoy Lyme Regis and the local restaurants.

  • "Really lovely apartment, beautifully decorated and containing everything needed to make the stay very comfortable."

    Great views of the bay an added bonus. Lovely and spotlessly clean the entire apartment felt so cosy and relaxing. The small welcome hamper was a delightful surprise. Loved every moment of our stay. Situated on top of the hill over the bay might cause difficulty for anyone with walking issues, helped us to improve our fitness. Me being 72 and my wife a little younger.

  • "There was very little in the way of clothes storage."

    No drawers and only one rail and a couple of hooks. This was the only negative. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent and the off road parking welcome.

  • "The property was as listed and a really good location."

    It was lovely to stay somewhere with some character, and having views of the sea was great, too. The kitchen was well stocked with the utensils we needed, and the apartment gave us a comfortable stay. It would have been good to have had some more options for unpacking clothes, but it wasn’t a huge problem. The only negative we found was that things in the kitchen needed a wash before we could use them.

Situated in the popular seaside resort of Lyme Regis, Dorset, a fantastic castle-like property offers a second-floor apartment with a touch of heritage.

6 Coram Tower is an apartment in a grade II listed building that once belonged to sea captain Thomas Coram and is ideal for a romantic couple’s getaway for those who love long stretches of coastline with fresh sea air. An open-plan living space with traditional windows overlooks the town below, offering a sofa to recline in and plan your day, a fantastic little kitchen space with all you will need to cook a romantic meal for two, serving it on the dining table with a view to the town and bay below, and note here the homely atmosphere has been achieved through wonderful artwork and a space that is social and well suited or two.

A double bedroom with a traditional window and arched wall space encourages you to relax, with the addition of vintage furniture and old-fashioned photographs.

A contemporary bathroom will soak the sand from your hair and refresh you after a day spent at the beach.

Outside, there is a wonderful communal garden with a large lawn space, perfect for a picnic.

Take a romantic stroll across one of the beautiful pebble beaches in the local area, with many to choose from, including Lyme Regis Beach, Monmouth Beach and the well-known Lyme Regis Fossil Beach.

A visit to Langmoor and Lister Gardens will make up the perfect morning before heading into the town centre to enjoy a meal for two at one of the many cafes and restaurants, and you can end your day with a stroll across the picturesque harbour or in one of the many pubs with a glass of your favourite beverage in hand.
