    Gate to garden wasn't secured for my dog. It was sorted straight away and myself and the dog had a fantastic stay.

  • "Great stay in a wonderful place."

    Home from home. Great location with a bit of sea view. Comfy, warm and lovely decor. Hoover packed up on us as we were using it, Apologies. We struggled with 1 small bin external for the week. Separate garden for the dog was a god send.

  • "We love this apartment."

    The location is excellent. So close to the beach and a lovely walk to Weymouth town along the beach or by the nature reserve. There is plenty of living space inside with a well equipped kitchen including a good size fridge/freezer. The bathroom is a good size, with a bath and separate shower. Only downside we found this time was that it is a bit cold and damp and was really hard to get our swimming gear and towels dry inside. Unfortunately the weather didn’t enable us to hang things outside on many days we were there.

  • "A lovely, comfortable, very clean apartment with everything we needed for our weeks stay."

    Great position so near the beach ( which is dog friendly all year round). Little garden great for the dog in the mornings! . Bus stop outside for trips into Weymouth if we didn’t fancy the walk, and a local shop, open all hours. Would love to stay there again, thank you.

  • "The holiday property is very clean, facility is modern and very lovely, they thought of everything you may need."

    I will gladly give this property 10/10. The only thing they may consider to change is the mattress in the master bedroom. It is too soft, therefore not too good for your backbone. The location of this property is the best for holiday in Dorset near the beach.

  • "This is a fabulous property in an amazing location."

    It is comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. The only things that disappointed us was the weak WiFi signal that kept dropping out. The dishwasher has seen better days and if you haven't used one like this before, it would be a problem as there are no instructions for it. Overall though a great place to stay.

  • "Our first instinct was 'wow' however we gradually realised this was not quite the reality."

    Both Settees were rather tired and not at all comfortable. There was no dressing table in either bedroom. Ladies do like to be able to sit at a table in front of a mirror to apply make-up and dry hair. In the main bedroom the drawers in the bedside cabinets were difficult to close and one appeared to have had the door glued closed. Towels were inadequate in size. We were glad we had brought our own bath sheets. There were no instructions for the dishwasher which was not working. This was resolved by a phone call in which it was suggested i insert a pencil in the slot where the button to change settings should have been. Unfortunately my husband, who is an invalid, was taken Ill so we were forced to cut our holiday shirt after just 4 days.

    Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and spacious really made for an enjoyable week. Having meals in while looking at the view of the ocean was Lovely. Separate garden for the dog was a real bonus too, even though you could be on the dog friendly beach within a couple of minutes. Would highly recommend.

    It is a modern, well furnished apartment. Extremely close to the beach. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The apartment is a credit to it owners, who we met. They were friendly, and very knowledgable about places in the area to visit. We truly enjoyed Tides Corner, and would be very happy to visit there again.

  • "Tides corner was spotless, modern and welcoming."

    We could not fault anything inside the apartment and the position of it was spectacular - right across the street from the beach. However there was one major disappointment, the garden. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone with dogs or young children as the garden was not secure. There is a gate across the driveway which we asked to close because we took our dog and unfortunately we not allowed to. I feel like this should have been made clear before booking the apartment as the driveway leads out onto a main road. This problem could be easily rectified by building a fence down the side of the house near the patio area to allow a small bit of the garden to be secure for dogs or young children. This is by far the nicest property we have ever stayed in in Weymouth and if it wasn’t for the garden we would be back every year.

  • "Tides Corner is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in at Weymouth."

    Attention to detail was perfect. The welcome pack was everything you needed, from a treat, to that well expected cuppa after a long journey and even basic items you may have forgotten. The comfort at the property was great, lovely linen and towels provided and comfortable beds, we slept very well due to the walking and the sea air. We can't rate Tides Corner highly enough if it was marks out of 10 we would have to score it 20. Certainly would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in comfortable surroundings and would book again anytime.

  • "I was disappointed in the size of the towels as they were not bath sheets."

    The heating was on a timer and switched off at 10.30am and didn't come back on until 5.30pm as it was March the rooms went quite cold when the heating was off and as the weather was wet we were in the apartment more than out. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean and the wine, coffee, tea, etc was a nice touch. There was a lovely sea view of the sea and Portland Bill from the dining room. We had a lovely break and enjoyed ourselves.

Bowleaze sits behind Bowleaze Cove and right at the end of Weymouth’s long 3-mile beach front perched on the edge of Preston. Known for its fascinating geology and picturesque location on the Jurassic Coast, this area of Weymouth offers beautiful views back towards Weymouth and Portland, whilst only being a short distance from the main beach and town centre. There are many places to eat and you can join the south west coast path towards Osmington Mills, Ringstead and beyond from here. Predominantly a residential area, it’s perfect those who want to escape to the seaside but retain the tranquillity of a residential area.
