  • "It is as described."

Fully and comfortably kitted out for two people. We certainly had no complaints or found anything missing that we needed. The owner next door was lovely. Had there been anything we wanted we are sure she would have provided it. The views south especially from upstairs are stunning. Unfortunately due to the weather, what do you expect in February (clearly not the fault of Blue Waters!) the adjacent paths into the countryside and down to the Nature Reserve were out of bounds without decent wellies. Something for next time. And we will be back.

Thank you so much for your invaluable feedback and delighted you were so satisfied with your stay. I look forward to your return. Property Owner

  • "Only one little thing missing no pan trivet was not sure where to put hot pan but everything else was fantastic what a superb place and holiday amazing."

Hello Janet, the trivet was on the window sill in the form of a ceramic tile on felt pads. Thank you so much for your excellent feedback. Property Owner

  • "Wonderful views across the bay Modern well designed facility for two."

Great for walking to Weymouth centre and along the coast. The bird reserve made an interesting attraction and provided a sound track of calling geese.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Waters."

The holiday home has fantastic views and is beautifully fitted out with everything you could possibly need. It has been decorated to a very high standard, is pristine throughout and is decorated with some really lovely art works. There are several spaces for sitting out in the garden although unfortunately the weather wasn't really good enough while we were there to do so. The owners had provided some food and drink items which was a wonderful welcome touch and it felt like our holiday started the minute we arrived, as well as making us feel at home.

Thank you for your valued feedback Caroline, so pleased you enjoyed all aspects of Blue Waters and hope to welcome you back one day! Property Owner

  • "Had an absolutely fantastic time at Blue Water."

The owners Rob and Suzy obviously take great pride and it shows through - it was beautiful, spotlessly clean and full of thoughtful touches. Everything we needed including a useful kitchen, local guides, boardgames, Tassimo coffee machine which even had the pods supplied...I could go on. Bed super comfortable and a great shower room. The cottage is perched up on a hill overlooking Weymouth and very close to some beautiful walks through a wildlife nature reserve. It is a good walk into town so if you have to be in the thick of it you should look for somewhere else. But if you don't mind somewhere a bit tucked away, this place is an absolute gem. Thanks again, we will be back!

Thank you so much James for your brilliant review, so glad you enjoyed your stay with us here at BW's. We look forward to your return. Suzy and Rob Property Owner

  • "Following the very accurate detailed instructions which take you through winding roads of interesting modern houses, you reach your own parking space."

Easily finding the key you enter a well kept, surprisingly secluded, garden with magnificent views. The grass is so well manicured it doesn't look real. Touch it. It is. The well equipped house with its interesting art works fulfils the initial promise. It is compact but feels spacious and the double doors open onto the decking. There is a view which is over a RSPB reserve and reaches down to the sea. It feels as if you are out in the countryside. Your hostess, Suzy, is welcoming and helpful but does no intrude on your privacy. This is a real home from home, light, airy, well equipped. A pleasure to be in.

Thank you Deborah for your very descriptive and flattering review, I really appreciate it and so pleased you enjoyed your stay. It takes time and thought to write in this way. Suzy Property Owner

  • "The property was immaculate and perfect for our weeks' holiday to Weymouth."

Lovely private garden with a sea view and an easy walk across a nature reserve into town. The owners next door were very friendly and made us feel most welcome - the cottage is an absolute credit to them. I would definitely recommend this as a brilliant place to stay for 2 people.

Thank you for your very positive review of Blue Waters. It makes us feel proud and it was a pleasure to have you stay. We hope to see you again one day. Property Owner

  • "New entrepreneurs in the holiday letting business."

They are off to a most excellent start. First class accommodation and facilities, all spotlessly clean. The premises is a good size for just one bedroom. It is particularly pleasant to have a really comfortable bed and great shower room on the second floor with living room and kitchen underneath, both having brilliant views out to sea overlooking an RSPB wetland area across to the quietest end of Weymouth Beach and Portland from both levels. Good indoor furniture, equipment and kitchenware in addition. Clearly, much care, thought and clever design has gone into the design and decoration of the new premises, creating a lovely ambiance. Outside, was a reasonably sized attractive, landscaped garden with three separate areas in which to appreciate views, including decking and a gazebo. It was a joy to stay there with Rob and Suzy, truly lovely and hospitable people. We have firm intentions to return at some stage.

Thank you Laurence for your inspiring review of Blue Waters, which we value with pride. We hope to see you and Moya again one day. Suzy and Rob Property Owner
