  • "Couldn't fault the property."

    Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely view from the balcony. Found the hill a little challenging but it was in the 30's so hardly surprising. Some places supply milk and teabags on arrival...this one doesn't. This not a criticism just a handy hint. We will definitely book this one again

  • "The apartment is very clean and comfortable and we were very happy and enjoyed our stay."

    The only thing not made clear in the description was that the balcony was shared with the next door apartment, only a glass screen separating the area. This meant it was not very private which put us off sitting out there. Also you need to be aware that the person in the flat above made a lot of noise from 4.30 am most mornings and played his piano from 6 am. Lovely music but not at that time in the morning when you are suppose to be relaxing on holiday!!

  • "The location was excellent, off road parking was great and all of the instructions were really simple and easy to follow."

    The double bed for two of us was a bit uncomfortable and we didn't sleep very well due to the person upstairs being quite loud at 4am most mornings and playing the piano at 6am every morning on a weekend. The property was perfect though and as described.

  • "A well equipped flat with the bonus of outdoor seating area with super views over Lyme Bay."

    Good to have received phone call from Lyme Bay Holidays to see how things were, so mentioned no info to use appliances. Also had to sort lack of hot water later in the week which was quickly rectified, so good service. Great to have car parking. Would recommend.

  • "Lovely apartment with convenient parking space."

    Front door is a bit stiff to open, requires a yank and twist action and I caught my thumb performing this manoeuvre as the handle is very close to the door frame. No faults with the apartment but the upstairs neighbour thunders around like an elephant (at 4am-6am in my case) and played piano from 7am at the weekend during my stay.

  • "Very clean, spacious, well equipped apartment with lovely outside space and views."

    Superb position and excellent having 2 car parking spaces in Lyme Regis. Just a few things we found - The dining chairs were heavy and quite uncomfortable to sit on, the pillows were quite hard and the bed itself should have been one without legs as we caught our toes and legs a few times. There were no instruction for the electrical equipment and we found it difficult finding the right setting’s for the microwave as it was one we were not used to using. The crockery got very hot. Overall it was an excellent apartment and we enjoyed staying there.

  • "Very nice comfortable apartment with a lovely balcony and view."

    Sat outside every day. The only downside was the noisy road so you couldn’t have the windows open at night and also even tho the windows were new double glazed ones there was still noise.

  • "It took quite a while to find out where the keys were, this was experienced by other guests."

    There was insufficient hot water. However the property was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. It was clean and well equipped with very useful parking spaces.

  • "We had a lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful & very stylish apartment, it was comfortable, very warm & cosy (as it was February) & everything you need is provided in a well thought out kitchen/diner which also has a lovely sea view across Lyme."

    The balcony is an added bonus for when the weather is better for outdoor dining. Would thoroughly recommend staying here & we will certainly be back again

  • "Lovely property near the centre of town."

    Good kitchen amenities. The location meant it can be noisy as it is on the main road. The en-suite bathroom had an unpleasant smelly initially. Once the shower was used, the smell was better.

The building is located on one of the roads that come into Lyme but because of this, guests can easily access the town and surrounding areas.   • "The flat was in excellent condition, in a very good location."

    The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved the balcony with the table and chairs, and the beautiful view. Yes, there is some traffic noise from early in the morning, but this is a few noisy vehicles, rather than a constant stream. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "Lovely spacious apartment with just about everything you need for a holiday."

    Very clean and modern. My only negative comment is the road noise. Traffic passing by all day and most of the night was very noticeable from the bedrooms and from the roof terrace.

  • "Really wonderful apartment spotless x wonderful views can't fault apartment ."

    Only downfall was terrible noise off road so came back home early as didn't sleep all the time we were there .its a shame cos apartment fantastic.

Apartment 5 Victoria House is a fabulous first floor apartment situated in the popular seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the Dorset coast.

Formerly the station hotel, Victoria House is a very spacious Victorian property which has been sympathetically converted to apartments retaining many features typical of the period throughout.

With the benefit of off-road parking for 2 cars and sleeping up to 6 guests, this tastefully furnished apartment is ideal for a seaside break at any time of the year.

An internal staircase takes you to the apartment where you will find a delightful open-plan living area with a stylish kitchen and dining area which enjoy far-reaching views over the town to the sea and the Jurassic coastline beyond.

A welcoming seating area makes the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

Large patio doors open onto the roof terrace, a real feature of this apartment, which has views over the town towards Golden Cap and as far as Portland on a clear day.
