  • "This is an absolutely gorgeous holiday home which has been presented immaculately."

We all loved the property and really enjoyed our stay. It is also well stocked so has everything you need. It is in a great location with easy access to many local places of interest and beaches. My only criticism is the check in and out times 5pm is too late and 10 is very early when you have to strip all the beds as well as pack everything up to leave.

  • "Lovely property, beautifully decorated and very well equipped."

We enjoyed the great location in the centre of the village, and short drive to the gorgeous coastline. Please provide a visitor book. We would have loved to share our favorite places to eat, walks and beaches with future visitors.

  • "We had the most wonderful week at Norden House."

The property was perfect for three generations and a dog! The owners are so friendly and it’s location is ideal being around 20-30 minutes from various destinations such as Lyme Regis, Weymouth and West Bay. We would love to return.

Charming home and village. We would definitely visit again if we were back that way. Thank you!

  • "Norden House is a gorgeously lux place to stay, the decor is impeccable and nothing is wanting."

Every single detail is met, the house was immaculate and is a real doggy haven. The owners are lovely but leave you to it, just there if you need them, which is perfect. Great location for walks, local shops and just exploring the area. Thoroughly recommended.

  • "We had an excellent stay at Norden house."

The owner and her family were very welcoming and the accommodation was lovely. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms comfortable. It was only a short walk down the drive to an enclosed garden which contained a small caravan and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine. The village of Maiden Newton was very pretty, especially the walks along the river which were 5 mins from the house. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • "What a wonderful place in the perfect location for exploring Dorset."

Nordon House is lovely making you feel like it's a home from home with some thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is at the bottom of the drive detached from the house but this is perfect creating a cute little hideaway for either for a peaceful drink or play, Jack hasn't stopped talking about how good the garden was since we got back. The neighbours are really friendly and Jack loved getting to know the dogs. We will hopefully be booking again but for selfish reasons wish it wasn't so exceptional as we know it will be a struggle to find availability during school holidays as it gets more and more popular. Overall I would recommend if you want a great location with local shops on your doorstop for supplies and a good sized holiday home offering you everything you need to create those memories. Thank you to David and Anne for letting us stay at your exceptional holiday home. P.S. having 3 showers within the property was brilliant. Thanks again Mark

  • "A really lovely house - warm, comfortable and well equipped, with lots of nice touches which made us feel welcome."

Very well set up for dogs too, with the mud room being particularly useful. Adding a mirror to the second double bedroom would be helpful, but otherwise everything was absolutely great - thank you.

  • "Cottage was beautiful in a lovely little village."

Local shop is only 40 second walk with great local produce. The dogs loved the river which is a short walk into the village. Lots of wildlife around as well. Also the fox & hounds pub is a must visit for hearty meals & a good cider.

  • "Beautifully presented cottage - like staying in a boutique hotel."

Every little detail thought of (including a beer fridge in the classic caravan in the garden) - restored my faith in holiday cottages in the UK. The village was great with good facilities (petrol!, pub and groceries), and well located.

  • "We had a lovely week at this cottage."

The facilities were as listed however I felt that there could of been a few improvements. It would have been fantastic to have a BBQ in the garden next to the caravan to use. The towels and bedding were of great quality however a bath sheet would have been better than 2 bath towels ideally. Having a few extras provided in the kitchen would make this accommodation 5* even if the price went up slightly to cover the cost. Overall we had a great stay. We picked the hottest week of the year and the desk fans were an added extra. Thank you

  • "Great accommodation with an interesting history and land which we didn't have time to make use of the back garden and facilities supported by on site staff."

Great for accomadating a small but lively puppy as well
