  • "Awesome property, amazing views!"

Very clean and everything you could possibly need. Also great communication from the owner. Only downside, every time we cooked the smoke alarms went off, think maybe they are positioned too close to the kitchen?

Thank you for such a positive review, we are really glad you enjoyed your stay. We are not sure why the fire alarms kept going off as you say, we have not had this problem before and are monitoring the situation. Just for guests piece of mind, the alarms are tested regularly and checked by a competent person as and when regulations state they should be. Property Owner

  • "Superb property in a perfect location!"

Great beach views and such a lovely relaxing experience listening to the waves whilst on one of the terraces. The only issue we had could not get the dvd working! There is also one mystery key which does not fit any lock! lol! Many thanks for the welcome gift. Thoroughly recommend! If my 86 yr old mums fitness is still strong we will be back next year those big steps were a bit hard for her.

Thank you for your feedback, we have checked the DVD and found that there was a problem with the remote control and port that the HDMI lead was plugged into. These have now been resolved and the DVD player works. The mystery key is for the door to the communal porch to the other flats in by the parking area. In the porch there is a sliding door cupboard and inside there is a master fuse board for Ocean Wave that may need accessing if the electrics trip out beyond the other fuse board located in the inner hallway to the flat itself (just outside the bathroom). We hope your mums health stays strong and that you might book with us again. Property Owner

  • "A super apartment with an unbeatable view and a fab terrace to enjoy it from."

We were lucky enough to have very hot weather, too hot to do anything very energetic on our break, but the flat and garden are lovely enough to make staying at home a tempting choice. Situated right on the sea front, so people and sea watching was very relaxing, and when we did go out the town and amenities were a short level walk away. Highly recommended

Thank you for your really positive feedback and for booking Ocean Wave. Property Owner

  • "We absolutely loved this property - it had the most amazing view and private patio and garden ."

To be able to step out of the garden and walk along the promenade was simply perfect, and far enough out of town to be quiet. My one grouse , as my husband is elderly and disabled he had the main bedroom, so i used one of the single beds in the other bedroom. The bed was not particularly comfortable because the mattress cover felt as though it had plastic under and rustled and was too loose. I presume it might be for children, however if used by another adult couple - of which why not - it was not wonderful. The view from there made up for it. We managed in the small shower , but please put a small shelf in there for necessary shower gels and shampoo. .The kitchen had everything, and the lounge dining area comfortable , but again the view made it. Would I go again, yes because of the View, garden and promenade walk, town nearby and a delightful park and cafe virtually next door.

Thank you for your feedback, we are really pleased you enjoyed your stay. We have looked to try to improve the mattress protectors on the single beds as suggested by adding to the protectors used. Unfortunately they are not cheap to replace mattresses so we do put on waterproof protectors just in case of accidents but these do have a quilted top to them for comfort. We are reluctant to put a shelf in the shower due to the fact they all seem to rust quite quickly and look unsightly so soon after installation but if we see something we think might work we will look at it. The shower in the bathroom is an 800mm offset quadrant, I don't think we can get anything bigger in there bearing in mind the size and proportions of the room unfortunately. Glad to read you would still look to book again. Property Owner
