All three cottages have spacious, open plan living and kitchen areas with Rose Cottage seating up to 20 guests in one large dining area.

With such well equipped kitchens you’ll be able to rustle up a family-favourite feast in no time, perfect for celebratory meals at the large dining table, as well as this space being great for an afternoon of board games.

Choose to gather together in the spacious sitting room and toast to a marvellous holiday with the woodburning stove offering an extra sense of comfort in the cooler months, or break off into separate groups and relax into one of the plush sofas in the open-plan living spaces.

The flexible bedroom layouts across the cottages make sleeping arrangements easy to organise and there is a large comfortable seating area in Rose Cottage where you can all gather for relaxing evenings indoors when you’re not exploring the excitement of Dorset.

Offering a games room too with table football and table tennis, the cottages provide hours of fun for all ages.

Be sure to make the most of your outdoor space, where the little ones and your canine companions can play freely as you enjoy alfresco dining in the form of a barbecue in the summer months.

Newfield Holiday Cottages sits in the middle of the countryside and is walking distance from an excellent Farm Shop and a couple of local pubs serving great food, offering everything you could possibly need just a scenic stroll away.

Although the dwelling is set in a rural location, you and your group will enjoy making the most of the walking and cycling routes without using the car, with the Dorset AONB and the Cranborne Chase AONB within easy reach providing enchanting landscapes and an abundance of nature to uncover.

Dorset is famous for its beautiful Jurassic Coast which is within easy reach for a day trip to the seaside, as well as the cottages benefiting from being very close to the National Trust gem of Kingston Lacy House and Gardens which has many activities for children and adults alike with play areas and a great walking/cycling trail. About the location

BLANDFORD FORUM

Thornicombe 2.7 miles; Child Okeford 6.5 miles; Moors Valley Country Park & Forest 17.9 miles.

Blandford Forum is a market town in Dorset, England, situated by the River Stour. Notable for its Georgian architecture, most of the town was rebuilt in the 18th century after it was destroyed by a fire in 1731. King George II made a donation to rebuild the town centre with designs from local architects John and William Bastard. The Blandford Georgian Fayre is an annual event held in the first week of May and celebrates its Georgian heritage, with presentations, historical re-enactments and music and dancing. One of the town’s biggest events takes place on the late Bank Holiday weekend, the Great Dorset Steam Fair. A largely colourful festival with over 2,000 exhibits and an old time steam funfair. Offering a wide selection of independent store, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, cafés and a Georgian tearoom. So much to visit within this quaint town and makes for a wonderful tourist attraction, whatever the season.
