  • "The cottage when we entered was spotlessly clean and our host Melissa had laid out what can only be described as the most delicious cream tea and chocolate brownies."

Along with her husband Chris they have thought of everything that a guest may require. This cottage is equipped with comfortable beds and quality furniture. it is a working farm with country walks all around you and the bucolic sounds of horse whinnying, hens, rabbits and a variety of sheep, cows and pigs all make their own noises and contributing to the countryside feel. Do avail yourself of breakfast which is served in the farmhouse and is taken with the family who all go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure that you have everything that you need. We strongly recommend Little Stables as a base for your Dorset holiday.

We look forward to welcoming you both back in the future please spread the word of our hidden gem! We are pleased you stayed with us to enjoy your Dorset trip. Property Owner

  • "A great stay, wonderfully peaceful."

The stairs were quite steep, it would be worth mentioning this in the details as people with poor mobility would find them difficult. Overall a great stay definitely would recommend it

  • "The Stables North farm is a very nice place to stay."

Melissa made us feel very welcome, with a cream tea provided for our arrival, which was delicious. Melissa also provided everything you need for your stay, including tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries, towels and even dressing gowns. The location of the farm is very central to many placed of interest and also near to a big supermarket, if you should need one. There are also lots of local walks to go on and eating places near by. I would highly recommend staying at The Stables North Farm.
