  • "Beautifully presented house."

    Bright and spacious, modem and clean. Back entrance door is into one of the bedrooms, we didn't need that room but just to be aware of that if 8 ppl are going. Downstairs bathroom is a bath not a walk in shower, so for anybody needing a walk-in they need to go up to the top floor; my mother in law was OK (aged 90) but again, worth knowing. (It probably does say in the property details, I can't remember) Would definitely recommend and stay again.

  • "Situated in a great location easy access to the beech , Studland and quality restaurants."

  • "It was an absolute fantastic week away, great accomodation with all mod cons."

    fantastic location. it would have been nice to have the front secured for dogs but otherwise what a great place to stay. the welcome basket was also a fantastic gesture and much appreciated. will definitely stay again. Thank you.

  • "We were a sailing group of 2 couples and 3 singles so we fully occupied the house."

    Two of us weren't sailing and we loved using the house for a quiet coffee when all the others were out on the water. Plenty of small supermarkets close by for fresh supplies and lovely walks around Sandbanks straight from the door. The weather unfortunately didnt allow for use of the lovely outside spaces on offer but we hope to come again earlier next year so hopefully we will try them then. The house is well stocked with everything you could need and more,and everyone fed back that they were very comfortable. We had the ground floor double and the bed was very comfy. There were a few signs of maintenance needed like the trim on our wardrobe was hanging off and the fan in the ground floor bathroom was on 24/7 but it is a big house and we were very happy and would definitely recommend and book again. Very clean, great location, nice welcome from the housekeeping team. Cant ask for more x

  • "We had fabulous weather which made the layout and location of Red Sails perfect for a three generation beach holiday so close to the chain ferry."

    The provision of stair gates was essential as was the travel cot and highchair which could have been listed more clearly avoiding a call to the agent, which is never easy. Ease of cooking and catering was enhanced by the well equipped kitchen and gas BBQ, but with the addition of a knife sharpener food prep could have been easier. Overall it was agreed that a magical time was had bathing off the superb beaches in warm, shallow waters and building elaborate sand castles with a very active toddler, or relaxing on the balcony under the amazing scots pines with a good book and a gin and tonic

  • "The outside terraces were in need of a clean, and we were put off from eating or sitting around the front terrace, due to the dirt and rust on the front table."

    Thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. All of the outside areas were thoroughly jet washed at the beginning of the season and the team do their best to keep them free from the fallout from the many pine trees in the garden. These are also shared areas. We focus on the private patio garden which most guests enjoy using. I will look into your helpful point about the table - we are always fighting the sea air!   • "We had a lovely stay at Red Sails."

    The house is in a beautiful location and handy to visit the many beaches and interesting places nearby. Red sails is well equipped and the house keeper is great at dealing with any problems or queries. The welcome basket for us and our dog was a lovely touch. Thank you for looking after us.

It was extremely unfortunate that the water tank I had installed less than 18 months ago was defective and started dripping during your stay. I understand that this inconvenience is reflected in your rating of ‘facilities’. We responded to the situation incredibly quickly and had a new tank installed within 36 hours and made alternative provision during this time. It was an unacceptable equipment failure which I have taken up with the manufacturer. Everything is now resolved and glad it didn’t spoil your stay. Property Owner

  • "3 generations of our family really enjoyed our stay at 5 Red Sails."

    The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The communal space had plenty of seating for us all and was light and airy. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of cookware you could need and plenty of crockery. The welcome package of essentials like tea, coffee, milk and orange juice and a surprise bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. The outdoor space was lovely with plenty of seating options. Just a short walk from the sandbanks beach and the chain ferry to Studland / Swanage , there was plenty to keep us amused and Poole and Bournemouth were only short drives or bus journeys away. Special thanks to Jenna the housekeeper, who was very helpful during our stay even researching a Chinese takeaway for us. We would definitely consider coming back.
