"High sided bath, no bath mat for inside the bath."
Could do with a small shelf on one side of the bed. Bathroom sticks needs readjusting. Front door also needs readjusting. Sofa very uncomfortable. TV not user friendly to use - we have used many tvs this proved the most challenging!
Don’t think stripping beds and putting them into bags along with the towels in another bag is not what we signed up for! We have had to do this before. This service by cleaners you employ should do this.
It took a mere 20 minutes to walk into
Town. We are very physically fit people and these very steep hills proved challenging. This should be mentioned in itinerary for future guests.

"This house looked lovely and was spotlessly clean."
Unfortunately, although looking great, it lacked some basic comforts. We had to use our upturned cool box as a bedside table as only one table was supplied with a double bed. The outside seating was not fit for purpose and the sofa and bed were not comfy for us but realise this is personal preference. There was no Nespresso coffee machine as stated in the details. Our holiday was completely spoilt by the location and think this should be pointed out in the property details. We knew the property was at the top of a hill only from reading previous reviews, but it wasn't just a hill it was a VERY, VERY STEEP and VERY, VERY LONG hill! A 25 minute difficult walk each way. We walked once but had to drive for the remainder of the holiday which we didn't want to do. On arriving back one evening a car had parked in our off road space, taking up both slots. We were not impressed by the welcome pack of cleaning items which consisted of a bin bag, scourer, mini washing up liquid etc. We would have appreciated biscuits and teabags to welcome us after a long journey. Would not recommend. Sorry, but we were extremely disappointed. As a cheaper holiday it would have been more tolerable but we paid the full price and feel we did not get what we paid for.

"The house was lovely and clean and modern but unfortunately it was at the top of a very very high hill."
We are both reasonably fit and active and we struggled to get back up the hill after walking into town. This spoilt the holiday as it restricted us going into town. Because of this we ended up driving more than we anticipated on our holiday.
In the house itself it was just lacking a bit of comfort eg the mattress and pillows were very hard. The garden furniture was metal and not for sitting on and relaxing. The kitchen lacked a tin opener and weighing scales. The upstairs rooms at the back had no blinds which is an issue for privacy in the bathroom especially and for darkness in the bedroom. Also a 2nd bedside table is needed in the bedroom.

"We had a lovely stay at Applebee Way, the house has everything you need and was very clean."
The back garden could have done with a bit of a makeover, but it had a raised deck and small seating area. You should be aware that it is a fair climb from the beach to Applebee Way. Overall a very nice property in a quiet area.

"This house was nice but had a few negatives."
Very hilly not mentioned, there was no welcome pack no instructions for hob oven and washing machine no take away menus, towels were thin and very small, no baking trays in kitchen, shower very poor and as for the garden two foot high weeds table and chairs dirty so no way you could sit outside. Unfortunately this property was very disappointing, would not go back or recommend.

"Lovely little house for two!"
Really enjoyed our stay in Lyme Regis & staying at Applebee Way. Perfect base for exploring the local area. Just one little note. Would have appreciated somewhere to put small items of clothing in the bedroom but otherwise accommodation was clean & had all we needed for our stay.
Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure I understand your comment about 'somewhere to put small items of closing in the bedroom'. There is a 3 mirrored wardrobe with hanging space and drawers in the bedroom.

"The property had some positive and some negative ."
Interior very clean and kitchen extremely well equipped.
Loved the little extras …. Coffee pods, sugar plenty of kitchen equipment.
Downstairs loo. Pleasant bathroom with pleasing toiletries.
Also loved the cookery books to browse .
On the negative side it wasn’t a sumptuous bed as in the description.
It was extremely hard.
Also nothing to put anything on apart from wardrobe and one bedside.
Outside was pretty abissmal .
Just clay rather than a lawn. Was 12” high weeds on arrival.
Description said close enough to walk into the town.
However, due to the steep gradient and distance, it wasn’t workable apart from for the very fit and younger generation. This wasn’t how it was described..

"An exceptionally clean, tidy, well maintained house."
Everything you could possibly need. Quiet area. Certainly, the description is accurate, the location is correct...at the top of a very steep hill, but Lyme Regis is a steep place. There's lots to do there. We explored all around. Used the train from Axminster to Salisbury and the coastal areas..thankyou for a lovely stay.

"Nice place tucked away at the top of the housing estate."
It is quiet there at the moment as a lot of the houses in the same road are vacant. Nicely situated for exploring the Jurassic Coast.

"The House was very clean and nice to park on the driveway right next to the house."
It was quite a long way up hill from the town, so we had to always take the car out. The bed was very comfortable but there was an issue with the bedside lamp it is dangerous. Also only one bedside table. The extractor fan over corker did not work. We were given a list of items to bring, which we did but we found most items already there. It was a little confusing as to what we were aloud to use. There was the owners hand soaps, washing up liquid, food items in the cupboard. Self Catering, over the years we have always taken the items we need and most homes are set up completely for this but we have never been where the owner has locked doors, locked cupboards and there own items around. It all felt a little uncomfortable especially how much one has to pay for these properties.

"It would have been nice to have a welcome pack, this has always been provided in our previous bookings."
No oven gloves and only one tea towel. I feel you need to advise that the property is at the top of a very steep hill for those who like to walk. Other than that, we had a very nice stay.

"Not suitable for anyone with mobility problems you do need a car to get around, wasn't aware that the property was up some very steep hills."
There was no microwave as stated it felt very unsafe washing dishes as there was no drainer which unfortunately we broke a plate,we didn't see the need to use the dishwasher for just the two of us.Having said all this the property was lovely but the weather not so thats why we left early.
