  • “Casa Carmen was excellent, clean and comfortable with everything we needed.”

Good outside space for warm days and evenings.

Good outside space for warm days and evenings. Clear instructions for check in and a slight issue with the hot water on the first morning was quickly resolved. The location is ideal probably 500 yards from Brewers Quay, the Harbour and pubs and restaurants, and in walking distance of the Esplanade and Beach.

The property

Casa Carmen is a contemporary-style, detached cottage just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Harbour and Brewers Quay in Weymouth.

This bright and airy house has off-road parking and a large garden at the rear, perfect for families, friends and holidaying with the kids.

Superbly located for enjoying a seaside break, you are ideally placed for walks to the beach and along the coastal path, whilst absorbing spectacular views.

The ground floor plays host to a spacious living room with a dining area and conservatory for you to relax and unwind an evening away.

The separate kitchen is well-prepared for those hearty family mealtimes.

However, for those evenings where you don’t fancy cooking, you can make the most of the harbourside restaurants.

Upstairs, you will find three bright bedrooms comprising of a double with en-suite shower, a twin and a cosy single bedroom.

There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, for those night's when all you want to do is soak your muscles after a long walk.

The patio and garden to the rear provide an ideal place for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening.

Weymouth beach with it’s golden sands and shallow waters is around a 20-minute walk around the harbour, whilst Newton’s Cove, perfect for rock pool expeditions and swimming is less than 5 minutes’ away.

You could be forgiven for parking up the cars and not venturing further than those places you can reach on foot, yet no holiday in Dorset is complete without visiting some of the Jurassic Coast’s most recognisable icons.

With Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach and the Isle of Portland and Portland Bill, you have a variety of options for exploring.

However you choose to spend your break, Casa Carmen provides an ideal base to return to at the end of each day.
