  • "Don’t be put off by the outside."

The quality of decor and the appliances inside is the best we’ve had. A credit to the owner.

Many thanks for your feedback. We do plan to change the door and paint the outside soon. We’re glad you liked the interior and hope you had a wonderful stay. Property Owner

  • "Listing might want to mention not suitable for older guests with walking or balance difficulties."

(open staircases ) Couldn't get oven to work. No handbook

Many thanks for your feedback. There are indeed open staircases which can be seen in most of the photos. The oven handbook is in the draw in the kitchen next to the fridge. Sorry you couldn’t get it to work, we’ve stayed recently and used it successfully. I do hope you enjoyed your stay despite this. Property Owner

the only one was in bathroom where obviously there are no electricity points

Many thanks for your feedback. Based on this we have now added mirrors to both bedrooms. Property Owner

The property

Resting centrally in the bustling resort of Weymouth, Dorset, is Cove Street Cottage, a fabulous, three-storey home.

Just paces away from the beach, harbour, and a hub of amenities and attractions, Cove Street Cottage offers the ideal base for a family seascape, benefitting from flexible sleeping arrangements, and a private, decked terrace.

Park up in a nearby public car park and travel a short distance on foot to reach the entrance of the home.

Start off your getaway in the living/dining room, where you can rest after a day of travelling or adventure upon the plush sofas, with the TV on in the backdrop, before heading into the kitchen to prepare delicious meals.

The kitchen is well-equipped for a self-catered stay, with the convenience of a washing machine and dishwasher.

Gather around the dining table, or head up to the first floor, enclosed terrace, a delightful suntrap, designed with alfresco dining in mind.

As the sun sets over Weymouth, select between two well-appointed bedrooms, including a twin, and a second-floor king-size, both serviced by a bathroom.

Awaken to a coffee on the terrace, whilst planning your coming days, starting off with a stroll around the harbour, brimming with shops, eateries, and renowned landmarks to tour; grab some breakfast at The Nothe Café, make reservations for The George Bar & Grill, or stock up on the essentials to fill the fridge.

Once you're refuelled, embark on a tour of Nothe Fort, brush up on your local knowledge at Weymouth Museum, stroll along the beach, stopping off at Alexandra Gardens amusements, or feel at one with nature by strolling through either RSPB Radipole Lake or RSPB Lodmoor.

The breath-taking Chesil Beach is within proximity, resting in Dorset AONB, spanning across 18 miles of shingle and sandy terrain, or if you'd prefer a day of sightseeing, visit Dorchester with the chance to explore the Dorset Museum, the Dorset Teddy Bear Museum, National Trust - Max Gate, and the family favourite of Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens.

Round off your break in Bridport, enjoying strolls alongside River Brit and a day of history at the museum, returning home in time for sundowners.

Make memories at Cove Street Cottage.
