As you step inside, you will find a bright and welcoming open-plan living area with a stylish interior which has been fully refurbished with a contemporary coastal feel yet sympathetic to the cottage’s age.

The sitting area is a delightful and relaxing space with the original feature fireplaces and a woodburning stove, ideal for those cooler evenings. The adjoining kitchen, equipped with everything needed for a self-catered holiday, is a great space for creating meals which the family can enjoy together around the farmhouse style dining table.

A sunroom at the rear of the cottage is the perfect spot for enjoying your morning cup of coffee, looking out on the garden with its mix of pretty shrubs and ornamental trees.

South facing, the garden is a little haven to sit back and relax with a book, with the table and chairs at the end of the garden providing the perfect spot for dining alfresco when the weather allows.

Head upstairs where you will find the two bedrooms, a spacious king size bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with wooden floors and original feature fireplaces.

The bathroom, located at the rear of the property is another spacious room with a bath and handheld shower over.

Just a few minutes' walk from the cottage is the harbourside and Brewers Quay with a pub and restaurants, Stroll further and Weymouth’s historic old harbour is adorned with visiting yachts and fishing boats which can be seen returning with their catch.

Fresh crab is a local speciality.

The Nothe Fort is an award-winning visitor attraction that brilliantly tells the story of the coastal defences. A short stroll over the town bridge will take you to the town centre, with a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs.

Also nearby is Weymouth’s famous beach, with its golden sands and clear, shallow waters - perfect for a fun day building sandcastles, sunbathing and swimming. The Sea Life Centre, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are all within easy reach for those wanting a day out.
