lovely property in an area we have stopped many times before, we had an issue with the hive thermostat not working but maintenance sorted that out, also not sure if the dishwasher needs a clean, a couple of times the cups were still tea stained so had to rewash them ,putting that aside we would definitely return to this property

Excellent location,well maintained and equipped, will be back again & again & again.

We had a wonderful stay had everything we needed was comfortable and whole place was spotless comfy beds lovely bedding and nice fluffy towels would definitely stay again.

We booked a different cottage, but on arrival found the boiler had broken and no hot water or heating.

We were moved to Spindrift cottage, round the corner without hesitation, and had a lovely couple of nights in a very comfortable, warm house. Well situated for all the sites of Weymouth, near Nothe Fort, the harbour and the town. Parking on site.

Had a great first stay in the spindrift cottage last week.

Its nice location close to the pubs and restaurants and good beds. We will be back in june and mabey more in the future. Cheers Arjan

The sofa/bed in the lounge was vey aged and worn.

The steps to the front door were quite a nuisance after a while and may affect the likelihood of a return booking. But generally the apartment was well appointed and comfortable.

Second time we have stayed.

..however maintenance is needed. Quite tired and tatty in places, holes in wall, sofa fabric ripped...for the price we have paid for two weeks I would of expected more. The furniture for a family of 6 to sit at is very uncomfortable, the dining table chairs was a welcome addition this year compared to the previous. The location is amazing and has a lovely feel about it but sadly we would not look to return again and will look elsewhere within the court. We did raise this with sykrs upon our return, I am unsure whether the owner is aware of the damage in the property or if it is sykes remit but we spent over £2000 and would of expected more. We had a lovely holiday and fixes are small and quite inexpensive to make the best of the property! Thanks

Very impressed with the property and enjoyed our stay.

However there were a few niggles - none that we couldn’t live with but would have expected better from a place with this star rating and price. But…. there does seem to be a reason for this so please read on . When we first arrived we had to clean the fridge as there were dried food stains in it and also items left in the freezer. We had to clean the en-suite shower as it was blocked with hair. No kitchen roll and no spare toilet rolls. No towel in the downstairs toilet. However we later found out that the regular cleaner had been ill on changeover and a substitute had serviced the property. We happened to meet the regular cleaner at the end of our stay and she was horrified! We had a dripping tap and also a window blew open during a storm and smashed the clock, both of which were dealt with promptly by Dream Cottages (Sykes). All in all I would recommend as right in the centre of things, lively area but not too noisy - only perhaps when there is a live group playing in the square.

Very enjoyable stay, in a great location.

Good open plan living area. The sofa does need changing, and the single bed mattress in the upstairs room wasn't very comfy. But apart from that all good.

Spindrift is a great property, fab location and really good amenities, comfy beds.

The balcony is lovely in the evenings and the open plan area is great for a family group. The new dining chairs are a big improvement since last year too. We will be back! The only minor improvements I would recommend are to replace the main sofa as it’s not that comfy, and would be good to have the stair gate to use if staying with toddlers.

Excellent accommodation with a parking space, which is rare in Weymouth.

Easy access, comfortable accommodation with good beds and excellent facilities. A real home from home.

We have had a fantastic Xmas at this property situated right by the harbour it’s very spacious clean everything about the property was fantastic having parking space was brilliant my family and I enjoyed our few days there and will definitely returning in the future best place I’ve ever stayed in and I have stayed in hundreds over the years I would love to thank the owner for making our Christmas so special

We really enjoyed our stay a real home from home.

we had a problem with hot water and heating but this was quickly sorted by some nice friendly staff.would have liked a hanging rail in 2nd double bedroom .right in heart of the town parking was a big plus.

This was a lovely clean , airy property with plenty of space for all our family.

The kitchen was well stocked with equipment , we could not ask for more. This is situated in a nice quiet area not far from the harbour and its facilities and easy to walk over the bridge into town or beach. Great to have the parking space so near . We would thoroughly recommend this property and would love to come again (sadly already booked for the same week next year) Regards Brenda Ward

Great property a few issues with the curtain rail in the bottom bedroom as the middle support has detached from the wall.

Would have liked a radio in the living area to listen to music and a pizza cutter. Another parking space would have been great. That apart a great place to stay would recommend it as a very nice place to stay plenty of restaurants and pubs in a short walk.

This holiday home is lovely and spacious, there were some ants in the kitchen but you can clearly see there has been effort to remove these.

The court yard at the back was lovely and allowed my children a safe space to play outside and the balcony at the front is the perfect space for outside dining. The beds were comfy the rooms were spacious, and the property was decorated lovely throughout we would definitely look at returning again.

House is lovely and well equipped, the ant problem was rather annoying though.

Even after speaking to Dreams all that was done was another any trap added under the freezer even though we advised the problem was near the window. Annoying to be on 'ant watch' on a holiday l. They appear to be coming from the courtyard. Mirrors desperately needed in bedrooms for hairdryer and odd there is no wardrobe in the double room but is in both singles so maybe a little rejig required. Location is perfect, we have stayed in the next door property previously. Parking for one car and the second we parked in asda for the week so not a problem. Would look to stay again if ant problem could be resolved!

Stayed her in June and was so happy with the place.

Well equipped, clean and tidy and plenty of room. We were lucky with the weather and sat outside a lot but could have done with a Brolley to put up by the table. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be useful but I already see that this has been mentioned by other people. Great place to stay. Loved it so much we have just booked for next June

Lovely long weekend spent at Spindrift- would be great if there could be some mirrors put in the bedrooms.

I had to go downstairs to use the mirror in the hallway to dry my hair.

Lovely holiday home and a perfect location in Brewer’s Quay.

We had a great stay with our two young girls, had everything we needed at the house and loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings. We would definitely stay again. The only improvement would be to keep out/remove the ants in the downstairs bedroom.

We were very pleased with the cottage: it was in an excellent position, parking was good and secure, it was spacious, quiet and basically well equipped - plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery were plentiful and of good quality.

There are not many places that can easily accommodate 5 adults but this place could, easily. Definitely a place that you would be happy to use again. I endorse all the positives, and add that it was generally clean and tidy, and very convenient for downtown Weymouth. Surprisingly quiet too. I thought it was clean and well equipped. Easy access to harbour too. I wholeheartedly echo all of the comments given. One of the best holiday properties I've ever stayed in. Clean, beautifully decorated and accessorised with stylish quality items. Fantastic position - quiet but right on the lovely harbour.

Fantastic property, plenty of room very clean and well equipped.

Spindrift was very comfortable.

Open plan kitchen, dining, siting room area. Good kitchen facilities, with outdoor seating area to the side of the front door. Great location on Brewers Quay. We really enjoyed our week stay, and we would stay there again. The only irksome thing is the TV is only connected to the internet (not to an ariel) therefore to watch freeview (BBC /ITV/ C4 etc). you have to navigate to iplayer/ ITVX/ C4 player. My parents found this difficult.

Beautiful property, well equipped and excellent standards throughout.

Loved the location, nice and quiet but with everything in super easy walking distance, and the security of knowing my car was safe however long I left it. The only extra thing that my teenage daughter would have liked was a full length mirror - she toured the house twice to make sure she hadn’t missed such an essential

Sorely disappointed overall living area not suitable for comfort as sofa is only fit for skip it is sagging and no foam and rock solid none of us could sit on it.

We had to stay out late to get comfortable seating elsewhere.Also dining chairs are not very stable they are just director chairs flimsy wooden ones, Television would not be able to watch unless you subscribed to channels could not watch live tv the single bed mattresses were also very hard, no full length mirror also no mirrors in bedrooms to dry hair and makeup I have never stayed anywhere where no bedroom mirrors available. Parking was very tight , that said the double and king size beds were very comfortable and the location was fantastic as I have used dream cottages many times without any issues I feel that spindrift is not to your normal standard I felt a little let down Kind regards
