The property

Roundham Cottage is a new and lovingly converted holiday home resting just a short stroll from the popular coastal town of West Bay and provides a wonderful base for a couple to enjoy a relaxing retreat by the seaside and stunning Jurassic Coastline.

This cosy property offers an opening plan living arrangement and is set out all on one level with the kitchen providing all you need to rustle up a home cooked meal to be enjoyed at the dining table, before moving your conversations to the plush sofa to plan your holiday itinerary together or switching on the TV to catch up on your favourite shows.

At the end of your busy day exploring the beautiful local area, you will find the well-presented king-size bedroom, which is sure to offer a tranquil night’s sleep and the bathroom with walk in shower, basin and WC is a modern and bright space for you to freshen up in.

There is an outside patio and decking area where you can sit down with your morning cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the peaceful surroundings whilst getting lost in a good book.

West Bay is most famous for its location scenes in the TV series Broadchurch and has a vast selection of restaurants, pubs and shops for you to discover, whether it be for your daily essentials or for that special souvenir to take back home.

The busy fishing harbour is a wonderful sight and the smell of freshly caught fish will have you rushing to the nearest takeaway chip shop, and there are many boat trips which can take you out on the water to relish in the spectacular clifftop scenery.

If you wish to travel further afield, the beautiful town of Lyme Regis is to the west of West Bay where you can marvel at the collections in Dinosaurland Fossil Museum, uncover the local history at Lyme Regis Museum and meet some underwater creatures at Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, along with the stunning Monmouth Beach and Sandy Beach to enjoy too.

The charming village of Abbotsbury can be found to the east of West Bay and is home to attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery and Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical gardens, both a lovely day out and a stroll along the pretty streets is a lovely way to while away the hours.
