  • "Lovely apartment bigger than expected and had everything we needed / wanted for our new year break."

Kitchen well equipped and plenty of hanging space available for coats etc. lots of wardrobe space in bedrooms but really in need of some draws for non hanging clothes. A set of drawers could easily be placed in wardrobe without loss of hanging space (only criticism but we managed) Easy arrival and departure with key safe and lift helpful with heavy bags. Smart TV was great on a cold, wet afternoon / evening. Very clean, good bed linen, comfortable bed and heavy curtains in bedroom good to block out morning light. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, UHT milk useful after a long journey but Tesco Express just around the corner which was very useful. Excellent location for places to eat / drink and 5 minutes walk to beach front. We knew that there was no way our car would fit in the allocated parking and on inspection can why. We pulled up outside to unload cases then parked else where no problem. View over harbour was lovely and happy to sit in pj’s and not feel over looked or on view. Overall great apartment and happy to return.

  • "Whilst comfort marked a superb."

It would be far more relaxing for older people for there to be a standard suite. Higher backed chairs would be great. However already booked for next year again. Oh! We did find that the doors to the toilets were stiff and struggled a little on occasion The electronic garage door took nearly an hour to get it to close when leaving.

  • "Fabulous flat spotlessly clean, wonderful view and furnishings all looked new."

One star dropped because of lack of items. We came on the train and had to buy kitchen roll, toilet rolls, foil, hand wash, dish washer tablets. Also would have liked a few more mugs or cups to save putting on dish washer too often. Obviously if you go by car no problem.

The location was ideal, convenient for shops, restaurants and exploring the resort. It was most enjoyable sitting on the balcony watching the boats coming and going and in the evening watching the fishing boats coming in for the night.

The view of the marina was nice, and the proximity to the town centre very handy for supplies. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Easy walking to the near by shops and beach. Manovering the car (which was small) out of the underground car park was very tricky not suitable for inexperienced driver!

Location was perfect. The beds were comfy and the 2 bathrooms was a god send for us. The bedrooms had loads of wardrobe space but would benefit from a set of drawers. We also found the 2 x settees uncomfortable and difficult to sit more than one person on each.

  • "The apartment has a lovely view though this may change slightly when the block next door is built."

Everything was immaculately clean and tidy. The decor was not to our taste but that's subjective. The warnings about the garage must be heeded - our car was smaller than the published limits but we still had difficulty driving it out. There were a few niggles regarding missing 'inventory' items and appliance instructions. There was no hook in the main bathroom for clothes and no rails in the kitchen for tea-towels. We gave details to the agent who seemed keen to address these matters. The basins were too small to wash anything other than your hands in.

  • "Stunning modern apartment in great location."

Only negative was that the parking provided is very tight to manoeuvre in and out of. In fairness you are well warned to only use if you have a small car but I came with a VW Golf and struggled to easily get it around the tight corner. Fortunately there was only one other car but if there had been 4 or even the capacity of 6, it would've been impossible. Don't let this issue detract from a fabulous apartment in a great central location.

  • "This is a lovely and well equipped apartment."

The decor is a bit glitzy but works well. The restriction in the car park seems to be a bit pessimistic at less than 4 metres. I did not risk it but I spoke to another resident in the block who had got his Ford Focus Estate into the car park. I don't know whether he got it out. This is a nice apartment which I would recommend for its facilities and location in the heart of Old Weymouth.

  • "Wonderful holiday apartment with fantastic view over the marina."

Very stylish and well appointed. Only thing lacking in the kitchen was serving tongs. Secure parking spot a bonus, although check your car measurements as larger vehicles won't fit! Perfect location... the huge sandy beach is only a 10 minute walk either round the harbour or through the town. Lots to do in Weymouth itself, including boat/fishing trips, land train, esplanade, Nothe Fort and more. Highly recommend for a holiday in Weymouth

  • "We loved the apartment, great location and views and well decorated with lots of space, near to everything - shops, beach, marina."

I have a small car so managed to park ok. There were a few things though we think would improve it - some hooks in the bathroom - maybe on the door to hang towels and clothes when in there. Also some drawers or shelving in the wardrobes. I ended up putting my socks/underwear in a pile on the floor in the wardrobe as there was nowhere else to put it. A third chair on the balcony would be handy. My friend who had the main bedroom said she found the shower entrance very small and couldn't get in easily - perhaps a bigger shower door? Lastly we did struggle a lot with the key in the door to the main entrance lobby, 3 of us tried it and we all struggled. These are just points to help you improve the apartment but we did really love it and would definitely return and have recommended it to friends.

  • "We had a great stay and loved the dual aspect sitting room with it's excellent views of the harbour."

Everything worked as it should, though adjusting the separate under floor heating in each room defeated us. The location was great; quiet enough yet close enough to the centre of town and it's restaurants (though privacy might be something to consider in the busy summer months). Weymouth has enough to warrant a good explore, even out of season, and we found some excellent restaurants and coffee shops. We also managed quite a few 'must have' items in the excellent homeware/design boutiques. The only major stress was not something the owners could do anything about. I managed to squeeze my estate car into the car park, but getting it out again was a nightmare and led to a scratched car (reversing out seemed the only way to do it).The lesson - don't be stupid like I was and ignore the warning over the maximum car size! I parked at 5.30pm one evening in the Britannia car park and left at 11.30am the next morning, which resulted in a £48 charge. My preferred choice was the Council Offices car park directly opposite and visible from the flat. £14 per day, with payment possible from the flat using the 'JustPark' app.

  • "Beautifully decorated and furnished, but not very practical for a really comfortable holiday."

The location was excellent. But there was no cutlery at the property. After trying to call the agent with no reply. I sent an email, which didn’t get a reply either. So had to purchase a set of cutlery. Considering the amount we had to pay for the apartment, which I thought was a little excessive. We were disappointed that we couldn’t contact anyone to report our displeasure.

Thankyou for your feedback we are so glad you loved the location and decor of the property. Apologies you did not receive a reply from us to your enquiry. There is a cutlery drawer under the hob but it can appear 'hidden' as it is a drawer within a drawer. We are placing a label on it so that further guests do not have this issue going forward. Beautifully appointed and decorated it has everything you need. Location is great, lovely view over harbour and within walking distance of beach, bars, shops etc. The parking space was too small for our car and unfortunately the free permit parking was too far for us to walk as my husband has mobility problems so we ended up paying £16 per day to park close by. Just something to be aware of.
