What guests are saying
Perfect family holiday cottage.
We really had a lovely holiday at Balsaggart the cottage was large enough with room to spare for our family of 6. Beautiful gardens and inside was so lovely and homely we had everything we needed its like a home from home. The area was very peaceful and there was plently of room for parking. We enjoyed the surrounding area, Burns country, farm park and visited Glasgow from Ayr station. Before our holiday, Tracy was very welcoming and had sent a welcome pack with lots of useful information.
The house is beautiful finished, comfortable and well provided.
The beds were GREAT, a rarity when on holiday, and the sofas were nice for relaxing in the evening too. The kitchen and bathrooms are also very nice and there are lots of lovely little touches throughout the house. The garden is obviously the pride and joy of the owners as it’s been extensively planted and has matured into a beautifully organic feeling space that evokes “secret garden” type thoughts. I thought both the house and garden were gorgeous. In the interest of balance, my only criticism would be the towels were small, I much prefer a bath towel I can wrap around me but these were only really big enough for the kids.
Balsaggart Farm is gorgeous.
The views and the gardens are stunning, we loved sitting outside enjoying them. The house was spotless with lovely big bedrooms. We had an amazing weekend in beautiful surroundings. Tracy was so lovely and I have already recommended the house to friends and family.
