Ailsa View

This was an excellent find and perfectly suited for our party of 6 adults.

All rooms were large and well equipped and the sea view was wonderful. Great location for walks and playing golf and would hope to use again. I have only scored 4/5 for comfort as the mattress in the front bedroom was way too soft.

It really would be hard to beat the comfort and cleanliness of Ailsa View.

I honestly cannot fault it. It is equipped with everything you need, and then more. All the rooms are extremely comfortable. The views from the lounge spectacular, and right on the seafront so you can walk on the seafront when the tide is out, or round to the harbour or into town from your doorstep. No issues with parking at all, there was always space on the road for two cars . Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Ailsa View.

The house is beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The views over Ailsa Craig and Girvan Golf Course are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. The welcome hamper was exceptional, with a lovely selection of treats…even our dog was included, which was a really nice touch. One thing to note: there are two flights of concrete stairs to access the property, so guests should be comfortable with stairs. Overall, a fantastic stay…peaceful, scenic and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment terrific views and great walks for our dog

Ailsa View provides a stunning location in Girvan, with beautiful sea views across the golf course, from the principal bedroom and the lounge.

This is much, much more than a holiday let. Ailsa View is a home from home and is a joy to live in for a break.

Had a fabulous holiday in Ailsa View.

House was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Will definitely return and looking forward to it. My mum didn’t want to go home

It was such a lovely stay, we all loved it there so much.

The house was so welcoming and felt like a home away from home. We were all very sad to be leaving as it’s been the best UK holiday break we’ve been on yet! We have all said we would love to come back again next year we fell in love with it that much. It was very much enjoyed by us all. We made some lovely, lifetime memories there and the location is fantastic, especially for the sunsets!

Ailsa View was very clean, homely, comfortable, well equipped and we loved the fabulous views from both the front and back windows.

The owner was easy to contact when we had an issue , he was friendly & helpful. We also appreciated the lovely welcome hamper. Our only negative is we would've liked the attic room windows to have had blinds in them. Overall a really enjoyable stay with my family. Thank you!

Lovely spacious property, beautifully decorated.

A couple of issues during our stay, however the owner was very responsive. A very well stocked welcome hamper was appreciated! Thank you. It was lovely watching the activity on the golf course and out at sea, the views of Alisa Craig changing with the weather conditions. Girvan has many lovely flat walks, hidden gardens and open spaces by the beach, harbour and golf course which was perfect for our party. The only downside to Girvan was a very sad and neglected high street ( which I guess isn’t unique to Girvan!) It didn’t spoil our trip though!

Beautiful apartment that provided a base for a restful few days.

A few small issues promptly addressed by owner. I would highly recommend.

Loved our stay and we were blessed with good weather.

Loved the welcome hamper. We couldn't find any guest information and were worried about the fish until we noticed the automatic feeder on day 3! The only improvements that could suggest would be a wardrobe on main floor for hanging clothes up and a non slip mat for the bath with a grab handle. However that said we loved Ailsa View and had a very comfortable stay. The views could not be better and enjoyed the sunsets every night. Very handy for walking into town and for access to Asda. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home

We loved our stay from start to finish, and didn't want to leave!

Fabulous big window to watch the golfers & see the beach
