  • "We had a very nice stay at Stable End Cottage."

    The property was very comfortable and stylish, with everything you could possibly need . (Even treats! plus fresh milk on arrival.☺️) The accommodation was extremely clean! It is off the main road which made it easy to get to many places of interest in the surrounding areas.

  • "As soon as we arrived, we knew we had made the best choice."

    The cottage is everything it was described to be and more. It was comfortable, cosy, and immaculately clean. It was lovely to wake up overlooking the field, and our children formed such a lovely bond with the cows. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need, making it feel just like a home from home. It's the perfect distance from York and the other beautiful villages in the area. We really didn't want to leave and will definitely be booking again.

  • "Stable End Cottage exceeded our expectations."

    It had everything we needed for a comfortable week's stay especially as the weather wasn't kind to us. The property was immaculate, not a speck of dust anywhere. Conveniently placed for the park and ride meant it was easy to visit the many attractions in York. We would class this property as 5 star and would highly recommend it.

  • "Our second stay to be near family and new Grandson."

    We rarely return to properties but this one is a gem. Modern, clean and warm, with everything you need. Visited Flamborough Head, well worth a visit. Our Son had a flying lesson nearby, which he loved. There is so much to do in this area and Stable End is a great base. Our 3 month old Grandson loved meeting the cows in the field, who ran over to see him. Thank you again for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage and the provisions on arrival. Lyndon, Ali and Will

  • "Lovely and comfortable stay, have never seen a rental property with so much kitchen equipment before, everything we needed was there and more."

    Great location for York Park and Ride and also for the coast. Entrance from the road can be easily missed, but you soon get the hang of it, the fact that is the only slight negative says a lot about how good this property is.

  • "Stable End Cottage was brand new and we were very happy to be the first occupants."

    The accommodation has been fully renovated to a very high standard, with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. It is a good base for York, Harrogate and nearby coastal region. Stable End Cottage is a charming semi-detached property set on the scenic Cuckoo Nest Farm near Wilberfoss, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, offering a well-designed single-storey retreat suited to couples or small families looking to slow the pace and enjoy the countryside.

This carefully converted barn includes an enclosed patio and lawn area ideal for putting your feet up after an adventurous day out exploring.

Inside, the open-plan living space brings together a stylish, well-equipped kitchen/diner with a central island.

A stunning vaulted ceiling lounge area, with original rustic exposed beams, is a great place to relax and watch TV while the natural light floods in from the bi-fold doors.

The kitchen is fully prepared for self-catered stays, featuring an oven, electric hob, microwave, coffee-maker, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with a washer/dryer on hand for added ease.
