Description

Blackberry Cottage is an old fisherman’s cottage resting in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, offering off-road parking, a large enclosed garden.

Step inside and find the kitchen, where you can unpack your shopping and prepare easy meals after days by the sea.

Move through to the dining room and gather around the table, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for family meals and unhurried board games.

The sitting room invites you to settle in front of the TV after a blustery shoreline walk, while the snug offers an additional spot for children to spread out with a film or a book.

At the end of the day, make your way upstairs to the two bedrooms, with a double room and a family room hosting a double and bunk bed, giving a practical sleeping setup for six guests.

Outside, the enclosed garden provides plenty of space for children and your four-legged friend to play, with outdoor furniture encouraging lingering over breakfast in the fresh coastal air.

From the front door of 46 Nelson Street, you are just a short stroll from Bridlington’s sandy beach, where you can dip your toes in the water, wander along the promenade, or call into one of the many pubs and shops dotted around the town.

Venture to Flamborough for its impressive beach and walks along the cliffside, keeping an eye out for seabirds and other wildlife along the way.

Further afield, Scarborough awaits with its historic castle and dramatic headland views.

Quirky cottage, lots of interesting features.

Cosy and clean, owner very thoughtful in providing all basic items needed for a lovely holiday - ideal when we were train travellers with limited luggage space. Location excellent, beach and town a few minutes walk, train station 8 minutes in opposite direction. We would definitely stay here again
