  • "Wow!!!"

We were transported into a most fabulous fairy tale style accommodation from the high street. The owner was a lovely guy who told us about the history of this fascinating hidey hole.We would thoroughly recommend Dottys Den to everyone we know.Ten out of ten for every aspect of a great holiday. This is a unique and gorgeous place. The stresses of every day life are put to bed here. The quiet tranquility is just what we needed.

  • "This is a lovely apartment which is full of character, thoughtful design, and some really impressive touches."

Great central location (though parking is a issue, as with no designated parking space or permit to park near by) the long stay car park is, a fair distance away and quite a added expense. The property is incredibly clean and cosy, and the log burner is a great feature. There was a few minor issues, we couldn't get the halogen hob to work, so was without this facility all weekend. Still think there is a few initial teething problems (as you can tell, this is a recent convertion) to make the guest stay more comfortable. There's no drinking glasses or wine glasses in the property. Unfortunately no salt or pepper pots. Needs bedside table or tables in the bedroom. And unfortunately there is a issue with pigeons, making noise all through the night, close to the bedroom windows. Overall the standard, cleanliness and features are very good. Just needs a little more attention to the finishing touches, to make the visitor stay more complete. This is just our honest appraisal.

Hi Jamie Thank you for your review. Overall it seems like you enjoyed your stay which we are pleased about. There are various places you could have parked at more of a reasonable rate for instance so the guests after you have informed us they parked at the train station for the week so we will update this information on our advert. We were unaware about the hob problem and you could have rang or messaged us and we would have been more than happy to come and attend to this problem. It was apparent that something in a cupboard had been pushed back and just knocked the switch off. We will take on board some of your other suggestions. Thank you Property Owner
