Wold Newton is a sleepy little village within the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, just four miles from Hunmanby. With its pretty stone cottages, village green, duck pond and even the site of a meteorite hit, it makes a lovely place to stay. It has a local pub serving meals, and is in an ideal location for walking the numerous public footpaths through the lovely countryside of the Wolds. It is only seven miles to the east coast seaside resorts of Filey and Bridlington, with all their family attractions, or travel a little further to visit the historic Minster City of York.
