  • "Excellent property with amazing sea and port views."

And the beach is good for sea swimming and the promenade is accessible and goes all the way round to Harwich one way and out onto salt marshes the other. Own parking spot and clear instructions for access. We really enjoyed our stay here.

  • "Pros: Number 19 is spacious, very clean, and comfortable, especially the bed."

Car parking is very good and secure, although the layout of allocated spaces is strange. Good view from the balcony across the water to Felixstowe. Cons: The toaster is hopeless!! It would be useful if the fused switches in the kitchen were labelled as it took us a while to work out that the dish washer was on the same circuit as the plinth lighting. Buttons on the washing machine had been pushed in, but we were able to release them slightly by carefully using a knife. This should be looked at. Also, the cabinet door is attached directly to the washing machine, so when the machine moves when spinning (adjust feet?), the cabinet door goes out of allignment with the cabinet. The drainage on the shower cubicle is poor and would probably benefit from some drain unblocker liquid. My partner found the towels rough, and she resorted to using her beach towel in the bathroom. The main photo in the listing is misleading since number 19 is actually in the block behind the one shown. We were only informed of this once we had booked, although careful scrutiny of the other photos give clues to the actual location. Overall number 19 is a good place to stay, with the sand & stone beach just across a quiet road, and a reasonable bar/restaurant next door. Redoubt Fort just up the road in Harwich is well worth a visit. We enjoyed our stay and would have given 5 stars were it not for the little maintenance issues.

  • "Flat 19 was the best place to be during the second heatwave with a lovely cool breeze from the sea."

Great views, good for long walks and a quick swim in the sea. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the balcony because our first attempt to have lunch there was spoilt by bird droppings from the apartement above. Don't expect allot can be done about that. We will be back later in the year.

  • "Great apartment in a great location."

Views over to Felixstowe are lovely and the beach is just across the road. Only suggestion is that both showers need descaling - nozzles outlets were partially blocked with scale leading to water going in all directions.

Secure parking which is an added bonus when on holiday making loading and unloading the car easy. Fantastic location next to a dog friendly beach and great for walks. Enjoyed discovering the local Banksy and good food shopping locally. Plenty of lovely seaside towns to explore and great for student kids to hop on the train to Ipswich and Colchester to escape from mum, dad and dog who had the best time of all!! A vacuum cleaner would have been helpful, a potato peeler and a teapot! Apart from that the flat was very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Very quiet location.
