  • "We had a wonderful stay at The Hide over the weekend."

It was perfect for our two families. The space was generous throughout, with a large and well equipped kitchen and dining area that made it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The cosy living room was ideal for relaxing in the evenings. The whole place was spotless and felt brand new, which really added to our comfort. It is genuinely one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in within the UK. The amenities were excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The garden was also a big plus, offering plenty of space for the children to run around and play safely. The location is beautifully remote, which made for a peaceful and relaxing escape from the usual hustle and bustle. Our host Ben was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay, making everything simple from start to finish. We would highly recommend The Hide to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable and well equipped retreat in a lovely setting.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay! We hope you come back again soon. Property Owner

  • "Wow what a place to relax and take a breath."

We turned off our phones and relaxed to the sound of the countryside. Amazing view from the hot tub, country walks on the doorstep. Comfortable beds and well equipped accommodation. Kids loved playing in the garden while we enjoyed a BBQ and playing boules. Walking to Mersea Barns for lunch and local treats. Didn’t manage to get to the Michelin starred restaurant at the end of the road -next time!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! Property Owner
