This property is very comfortable with high quality furnishings, bedding and towels.

The kitchen was very well equipped with crockery, cutlery etc. Although there are lovely glasses for alcohol, there are no no water/juice glasses so we struggled to fill the top of the dishwasher. Cleaning products, including dishwasher tablets are provided, but no tee-towels or toilet rolls! There are fabulous views of the harbour, mountains and the steam train too. Portmadoc is a lively town with pubs, restaurants and interesting shops in the main street and Tesco, Aldi & Lidl at the end. We had several interesting days out, including Portmerion which is very close. As noted in the previous review one of the cooker rings has no markings, so you cannot see if it is on or off and the ice box door is broken so is full of ice. We had no problem with parking. Although not the owner’s fault it needs to be noted that some properties both sides of the steep steps leading to the property are in poor condition. There are overgrown gardens full of rubbish and rubble on the stairs. This is creating a problem with rodents running around in daylight and needs to be bought to the Leaseholder’s attention.

A lovely little hideaway With views right over the harbour we lost hours just watching the world go by!

The apartment is up a very steep set of stairs which to be fair is mentioned in the description. Anyone with mobility issues would really struggle with access Also just to note that the decking from the stairs towards the apartment is also slippy when wet ( of course not the owners fault but just something to be aware of) The apartment is very comfortable and was clean on arrival. Towels and bedding really good quality and aided very restful sleep with the sound of the harbour below us. Shower and toilet compact but clean. Kitchen has all you’ll need for a short stay. Just a couple of niggles:- The freezer needs to be defrosted One of the burners on the hob has no markings on it so you don’t know if you have turned it up or down The electrical sockets next to the bed on both sides did not work. The apartment is close to a couple of pubs both doing food and also a pleasant restaurant. An Italian bistro sits on the harbour as well. Tesco/ Aldi also close by at the end of the main high street which has a variety of general shops and takeaways etc
