Ocean View

Second stay at Ocean View and won't be the last.

Well furnished, very clean and great location. Certainly appreciated the upright fan during the heat wave. Just a couple of minor niggles. The front door needs adjusting, as was very difficult to close and the noise from the occasional "boy racer" along the main road at night when sleeping in the front bedroom with the window open. But will certainly be back again for another stay.

I have been here 3 times and would recommend it.

Great views from the balcony. Pub next door and lots of great cafes and shops.

I have been to Ocean View a few times and love it.

The view from the balcony is great. Pub next door is great. Good local shops. Lovely comfy beds and great tv and WiFi. Parking for 2 cars. I would recommend it.

Cannot fault the accommodations with wonderful sea views.

Superb view with very comfortable seating area.

In an excellent area for shops, cafes and fish bars. Small issues (difficulty working out how to use patio door, and intermittent fault with coffee machine) which were dealt with very quickly, excellent support.

Fantastic location and view.

Well equipped with a good layout. Ideal place to meet the Family for a break. Make sure you bring your binoculars when spotting the liners on the horizon.

Probably a personal preference than an issue but the mattress in the top bedroom is extremely soft and quite uncomfortable.

But everything else was great

House was clean and as described.

Our main problem was the restricted headroom in the master suite and the very soft bed up there. My husband is over six foot and so had to be careful when moving around up there and we both felt the soft mattress did not provide adequate lumbar support. The television picture disappeared several times but after contacting the owner , a new Sky box was delivered promptly so many thanks for that.

Need to alert people of steep stair cases. Also needs to let guest know that the third bedroom is a walk through to the garden. The accommodation is tired, and in places rusting, like the showers. The sofa was very uncomfortable ,tired and not suitable for a large party of guest . Very disappointed as it was small and not worth the money spent.

Lovely property.

Great position overlooking the sea.Had a great week and dogs enjoyed their walks up Hayling Billy trail and Yacht club. Dogs also loved people watching from the balcony.

This was my second time to Ocean View.

I will be back again next year. View of the sea is fantastic. Having a pub next door and a fish and chip shop a few feet away is a bonus.

Beautiful accommodation, perfect location overlooking the sea.

We had a lovely week. The accommodation is over 3 floors with the main living/kitchen area on the middle floor. The accommodation has everything you need including stair gates, all kitchen accessories and appliances, washing line and towels in the garden - Feather bedding and pillows. The pub next door is lovely, has great food and isn’t noisy which is something we did consider when looking at the location. We plan to go back next year as thr beaches are never packed even in August.

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped house.

Ideally placed for exploring the island. Within easy reach of local pubs and coffee-shops. Excellent dog walks and dog-friendly beach.

Generally very comfortable and well furnished property, but there were a few small issues.

There still seemed to be crumbs around and under furniture/tables. The shower kept tripping the electricity fuse board and shower head could not be set in a fixed position.

What a lovely relaxing week with a great view from the balcony of the sea.

Everything was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed. Only gave a 9 out of ten because the furniture was too low for me - being an oldie found it hard getting up. Great having the sky tv and a nice pub next door although was never disturbed by any noise from the pub garden.

The property was lovely, clean, secure garden for the dog, well catered for a real home from home.

We found the accommodation exceptional.

Very clean. Everything there that we could possibly need The location was just across from the beach so the children were very happy. Great walks for the dogs. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. A+

Lovely position overlooking the sea and centre to everything.

Everything you might need is provided in the house which despite being dog friendly is immaculately clean. We loved sitting watching the ships in an evening when we returned back from our daily adventures. Really lovely way to chill out.

The property catered extremely well for all of us - we were 3 generations - and was a great spot for the beach and local attractions.

The views were stunning. Everyone had a fantastic stay. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive when we had a query.

What can be better than sitting on the balcony looking out to the sea. The pub next door is so friendly and delicious food. Will be going there again.

What a fabulous property!

The combination of parking right outside the front door, an enclosed rear garden for our pooch, a sea-view balcony (remember to take you binoculars as there's always something to see (from a Cunard Liner to HMS Queen Elizabeth), superfast wi-fi, luxury fixtures and fittings, and it's just a stones throw from a miniature railway, lots of walks and I almost forgot... THE BEACH! This really is somewhere special to stay!

Lovely property loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by the weather was brilliant, apart from the master bedroom having sloped ceilings and my husband kept hitting his head getting in and out of bed the property was very comfortable and well equipped and clean our dog loved the beach and the back garden we could throw is ball and not worry about losing it or our dog running across the road, and like most dogs he loves chasing his ball and barks in excitement, however the neighbour at no.

46 is not a dog lover and shouted out shut up, we were only out side for 5 minutes, but we still enjoyed our holiday and the pub next door was very good and very dog friendly.

It's in a great location with amazing views.

The house is well equipped and kept. Three generations plus medium dog stayed and each and everyone of us were comfortable. Will be back.

The property was excellent and very well appointed.

It had a luxury feel which was lovely. There were lots of little extras that made it feel like a home rather than a rental. It was refreshing for property to live up to the photographs. Despite allowing pets, the house felt very clean and the four legged guests were well catered for too. The proximity of the beach was a real bonus for entertaining toddlers and dogs alike. We loved the glass frontage which allowed us to view spectacular sunsets as well as feeling very cosy on the one occasion it rained and we watched the water run down the windows. We needed to contact the owner following a minor mishap. My message was responded to both quickly and graciously. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area I would absolutely recommend Ocean View

The house was perfect for us, it is very well equipped and furnished.

We had a few days away with two of our sons, daughter in law, baby grandson and two dogs. Ample space, perfect layout for extended family, everyone had ample personal space and of course we enjoyed family time in the fabulous combined living area with kitchen, dining, lounge and balcony on the first floor. The beach directly opposite, shops and takeaway food very close walking distance, good pub next door. The kitchen is very well equipped. This is the best rental we have stayed in. The only thing missing for us was having a few board games but maybe after Covid we need to bring our own when going away.

Great location and views. Nice pub right on the doorstep! Property was lovely and clean. Took my two dogs who loved sitting at the window watching the world go by. We enjoyed the walks along the beach!! We were a party of 4 and the space was fine for us. Although there are beds for 7 I think the living space would be rather tight for 7. Owner very helpful. Would love to visit again. Thank you.

There is very little to add to the feedback after answering the questions above however, Seaview provided a comfortable, cosy and safe sanctuary following months of Covid restrictions.

The view over the sea, and magnificent sunrises and sunsets were incredible. We will look to rebook. Thank you.

Modern and comfortable property and very clean.

Very child friendly. Fantastic views and in a great spot with local shops, pubs and activities near by. Also, owners kept in touch before the stay and were very friendly and helpful. This was very much welcomed. Would highly recommend.

The location was perfect - views of the sea, next door to a nice friendly pub and very close the fish and chip shop and ice cream parlour.

The place was spotless and warm. The facilities were new and everything you need for a holiday. Contact with the owners was excellent and they did their best to make it right for us. Nothing negative about this place, hope to be back next year David and Pat

The house has everything you could need while gone from home. The views are outstanding and fell in love with the top floor bedroom. The owners were great with communication and gave us all the info with plenty around the house. Will definitely return as loved our stay
