Nice property, Great location, lovely garden

A very cosy bungalow in a quiet location just over the road from a path which leads down to the beach, so just perfect!

Bungalow is a good size and has all the amenities so feels like a home from home. Garden is secure and private, only negative being garden furniture is old and has not been well maintained. Happily stay again due to comfort and location of bungalow.

The bungalow is comfortable and practical and there are loads of things to do nearby. The location is perfect as it is close to a major road but far enough away to be very quiet, and the beach is only minutes away and beautiful!

Lovely holiday property- fabulous location - just a short stroll to the beautiful beach- garden was very nice and safe for our 2 dogs and the bungalow was very comfortable .

Fantastic property in an excellent location.

Highcliffe is a brilliant place for a holiday: virtually on the beach, quiet residential area, local facilities within a short walk away and near to the New Forest and numerous coastal towns and villages. From the thoughtful free bottle of fizz and chocolate bars (free tv and coffee etc), to the large comfy beds and decent armchairs to the unusually large main tv (and 2nd tv), freshly mown garden areas and complimentary dog treats and voluminous pots, pans, trays, mugs, spares, library and games, this is a real home from home suitable for dogs and humans alike. We have now stayed in over 20 Sykes properties, and this is definitely one of our favourites. Thank you.

Lovely holiday home in a brilliant location.

Comfortable and homely with all utensils etc to hand. Plenty of space for a family to stay with a safe back garden for dogs. Short walk up to town for shopping, fish and chips etc also a short walk to the cliffs above the beach. Lots of paths to explore and lovely beaches, some dog friendly ones too which is handy. Enough parking on the drive for 2/3 cars, quiet neighbourhood. Park with playground just up the road. Easy drive to Christchurch and Bournemouth and Lymington/ New Forest in the other direction. Highly recommended and I'd definitely book again!

There is everything and more you need at this bungalow.

It is clean and homely. The beds are really comfy and plenty of hot water. The position is fantastic and so close to the beach, recreation park and high street. It has a lovely enclosed private garden with plenty of parking. Paula is super helpful.

Lovely, well equipped bungalow - just like a home from home.

The location was amazing - close to the beach, town and places to visit. The downsides were no comfortable seating outside and we would have loved to sit outside in the sun and the beds were not comfortable. The en suite bedroom mattress was very soft and the twin beds were not suitable for an adult!

Lovely homely bungalow, very clean and comfortable.

Very spacious. Nice secure garden (especially as our dogs are small. Lovely walks and a park nearby. Perhaps could do with renewing some of the crockery and cutlery as they are well worn (shows how popular this place is). Couldn't find a first aid kit, we needed a plaster or two.

It is a great bungalow and well situated and glad we have booked it for next year.

A well appointed exceptionally clean bungalow in an ideal location.

Everything we needed was on site and was very much home from home. Short walk to beach which was very peaceful at the time of our visit. Equally short walk to village with most of the essential services. Personal choice but we would have preferred a larger king sign duvet on the zipped and linked bed, however duvets provided were very cosy. Would highly recommend and definitely consider returning again.

In a wonderful position, with local amenities & coastal walks on your doorstep.I would recommend a visit to Highcliffe castle which you can walk to along the costal path . Good links to the New Forest & major towns & villages . We had a great week & will deffinatley return for another visit !!

Good location for visiting the New Forest, Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth. Good access to the beach and dog friendly.

Amazing bungalow with everything you could need and more.

So near the beach. Very comfortable accommodation. Perfect we have loved our three stays here over the last few years. The best cottage we have found. Very very dog friendly with completely terrier secure garden ( you will understand this if you own one). Beds are getting a little hard maybe a refresh needed in en suite bedroom and twin ? Other than that we love it !

Wonderful location very close to the beach.

Clean warm and inviting. Stayed several times and always the same.

We had a super holiday.

The garden was ideal for our toddler and dog -fully enclosed and plenty of shade in different parts. The bungalow was very comfortable and had everthing we needed. Short walk to the shops, yet very quiet. Just across the road was a steep path down to the shingle dog friendly beach, ideal for walks along by the sea with lovely views. (not suitable for prams in places) We loved going up to the castle for coffee and dorset apple cake! There was a great park 5 min from house too for kids and dog ball games. It had a really well equipped children's play park. The location was ideal for trips put to The New Forest and Mudeford ferry. Overall we would thoroughly recommend a holiday here! Thanks

Perfect location for the beach and New Forest. Good parking and a lovely private garden.

We thought the property was comfortable and quite well equipped however outside less so.

Lack of clean seating in a sunny area in the rear garden, bushes, hedges etc looked short of maintenance, garage down spout was blocked and over flowing (I cleared the blockage).

The bungalow was very spacious, clean and well maintained.

Lovely location very close to the beach. Not good if you struggle to walk the beach paths have steps and slopes. We and are dog Nell absolutely loved it.

Dog friendly , big garden(enclosed) Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Lovely hot water . Location great for beach across the road, Mudeford 5 min drive. Highcliffe castle. So many beaches nearby and of course New Forest.

We enjoyed our holiday and have booked to go back next year.

The property is a little dated although comfortable.

It is well situated in Highcliffe for the beaches, local amenities and access to surrounding areas. The owner contacted us prior to our visit regarding a minor issue and we had cause to contact her again regarding a problem with the heating. This was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Her attention was much appreciated. We would return to Sengador but it is fully booked for the dates we require!

We loved everything about this cottage and its location.

We would have rebooked like most visitors do if it wasn’t for our journey involving the wretched M25!! We were happy and comfortable here. Apart from Sengador and its garden being being perfect, the proximity to amazing views and dog walks along the cliffs were just opposite the property. Thank you to the owners for letting this calm oasis.

We thought this holiday property was fabulous.

It was very comfortable in a quiet street. It was really well equipped and the welcome book explained very well where everything was. The garden was really secure and great for children and dogs. Also brilliant about this property is it's location. The beach, a great playground with green space and the village with restaurants and bars, takeaways and supermarkets were all within 5/10 minute walk. There were so many things to see and do within a 30 minute drive and being on the edge of the New Forest just made this property and area even more special. We usually like to explore somewhere different every year but if we were to return to anywhere this would definitely be the place. I think it's fair to say that we absolutely loved our stay at Sengador.

Lovely location close to the beach and the New Forest.

The bungalow had everything you would need for your pet friendly stay. Large comfortable lounge/dinning room and two double bedrooms, with a smaller bedroom with two singles. If you don’t like firm pillows then suggest you bring your own from home. All clean and tidy with lovely treats for everyone left by the owners. Thank you

We had a great stay in this homely bungalow.

Lovely secure garden for the dog. Comfy beds and good shower and bathrooms. Great location , less than 5 minutes walk to the beach . Good restaurant and bar 5 minutes walk. Everything you could need in the kitchen, spacious lounge. We liked it so much we rebooked for next year

Sengador is a great bungalow.

Opposite the walk down to beach. Walking distance to local park and shops. Very clean and comfortable . Well equipped kitchen. Good sized enclosed garden for my dog.

What a wonderful holiday home.

There is everything you’d need and more. Don’t worry if you forget anything as it will be there! . It is warm, cosy and homely. The location is amazing with access to the beautiful beach across the road. Local shops are easily within walking distance with a varied amount of shops. Owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

This bungalow is perfect for our needs.

Clean, comfortable, warm and in a good position for beach, town and park. Ideal for walking the dog. Back home now our little dog is missing the beach walks.

Brilliant location for amenities and beach.

Nice fully enclosed garden for dogs. Warm air heating bit hit and miss thoughout bungelow - bathroom chilly when in bath/shower. Bed in main bedroom although fairly comfortable sleep was disturbed due to the two single duvet's on a super king bed so did not cover you and they were thin summer ones. Need a full duvet. No large throw in wardrode as stated in information pack. Need to re think the joss sticks in every room - within an hour of arrival we had bad headaches due to this hench all went in the cupboards as so over the top in smell.

What a great cottage brilliant location and very comfortable.

Rooms are airy and large. We have already booked for next year ! Please could you let the owner know you can’t turn the electric off for the on suite shower and it does seem to have very hot water. It maybe worth checking the top oven too as it didn’t seem to heat up very well. Many thanks

This was our second visit to this property, and it was as good as before!

The bungalow is so conveniently situated for the beaches, shops, takeaways, etc. and is on a quiet close. Our little Shih Tzu "Pepe" absolutely loved his daily walks! We cannot visit next year, but are certainly planning to return in 2024!

My 83 year old dad loved walking to the shops to get his paper every morning and sitting in the lounge watching the sea. Great walks on the beach for the dogs. Really kind and much appreciated the bottle of Prosecco left in the fridge. Very peaceful . Will definitely book again. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Location perfect.

Beach quite a steep walk down but only took about 10 mins. Walks along the beach to mudeford. Accommodation clean, spacious and comfortable. A park at the back, high street very near with good eateries We have booked again for December

We have had a lovely week, obviously helped by the weather, but the accomodation was first class in all aspects.

Ideally situated for the beach and high street, with a park just around the corner so fantastic for dog owners.

as we are in the 'older' age group perhaps informing that the shops are about 10 to 1 mins walk away, but otherwise all as explained and the walk to the beach is very convenient

Sengador is one of the best holiday bungalows we have stayed at.

Property perfectly located to beach and other nearby walks, also to local amenities. Bungalow had everything we needed and we have already booked for next year.

This spacious bungalow is in a marvellous location for dog walkers, just 2 or 3 minutes walk to the clifftop path which leads down to the shoreline, from where there are long walks to the east and west.

It is also very well situated in a quiet area but just a short drive from Mudeford and Hengistbury Head to the west and Barton on Sea, and Milford on Sea to the east. Highly recommended!

This bungalow is in a very peaceful setting but close to the shops of Highcliffe.

There are some lovely walks nearby, although the access to the beach just across from the property is quite steep! This was a very comfortable period property.

We love this bungalow, this is our third visit and we are not the sort of holidaymakers to return to the same place time and time again.

spotless and so comfortable. the kitchen has everything you could need and the bedrooms are large and beds so the best we have ever slept on while on holiday. The area is quiet and so close to the beach you can hear the waves. i would recommend this to anyone, although if it was mine i wouldnt let anyone else use it

It was such a delight to stay in this lovely property ,very comfortable and all you needed .

The situation was excellent to in a lovely area ,nice neighbours ,property well cared for .

Glad we chose the week, we got after reading of previous dissatisfaction of previous clients experience with the building work happening on property adjacent, perhaps the builders had listened to advice yes we had some noise but, when i put my garden chair out in the garden after lunch the radio was turned off, which was much appreciated.

Had a lovely time being able to walk to the shore. Property was so well full of equipment you could not ask for more. I was disappointed to find no hairdryer, as i had got used to all of sykes cottages being supplied without asking the question. The question of cleanliness is difficult to answer, because previous holiday makers let dogs sit on furniture, so the owners would need to look a little more closely when the change over happens.

The bungalow is very nice, lovely kitchen fully equipped with everything you need, everywhere was clean, nice comfortable beds, and there were raincoats and umbrellas for you to borrow if needed, you can see the sea from the front window and is just a short walk down to the beach, the back garden is fully enclosed so if you have a dog there's no way it can get out, would really recommend this Bungalow

The bungalow was in a lovely location , you could see the sea between the flats opposite and the cliff top just over the road which was ideal for dog walking .

Easy walking access to local shops . Would definitely return here .

Lovely bungalow.

So nice to go somewhere where there is enough kitchen equipment to cook a full dinner. Plenty of everything, from mugs, plates, cutlery and lots of little extras which was appreciated. It is in a lovely location near to the beach which the dog loved. The walk to Muddiford is very pleasant. The only drawback (which was nothing to do with the bungalow) was that there was nowhere much to eat in Highcliffe where you could take the dog in. The pub where we could take the dog did not serve food. The bus service was good though so we could travel further afield.

Lovely spot, really perfect - great cottage, great location and we also had good weather!

Bungalow was great but really could do with some outdoor lights especially for arrivals in the dark and having a dog in the garden.

The bungalow was really spacious, comfortable and cosy.

The "welcome" wine and chocolate was much appreciated. The location was ideal for walking our dogs on the beach everyday though the access to the beach is via steps so may not be suitable for everyone. It was only a short walk into Highcliffe high street where you could find a Co-op, Tesco express, butchers and various cafes and take away shops. Would certainly recommend to anyone with dogs wanting a seaside holiday.

This holiday cottage exceeded our expectation.

From the great setting and ease to the beach, the comfort of the accommodation and the quality of the furnishings. Easy dog walking from the door and many and varied eateries within a short distances A perfect place to relax and unwind. Thoroughly recommended,

Had problems with a smell from the drains in the ensuite, meaning we could not sleep in that room all holiday.

Was a lovely bungalow big clean everything needed and near cafes shops and pubs an outside light would benefit people with dogs as sideway and garden dark needed torches As my dogs sleep in my bedroom (not in my bed)was dissappointed to find a note on lounge door stating no dogs beyond this point as they wake me when they need to go out bit awkward That was not in the advert when I booked Other than that good

Good sized bungalow in a lovely location.

Local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants in walking distance with other eateries just a short drive away. Add some lovely weather, brilliant. Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage not too far. The IOW ferry is easy to get to in Lymington, but there is not a lot in Yarmouth although you could catch a local bus or take your car.

Excellent facilities reached all expectations hope to book again.

Loved the bungalow!

So spacious! Every thing you needed. So close to the cliff and walk to the sea! You could see the sea from the lounge window which elderly parents loved! Seeing the bunnies was sweet and a couple of nights we saw a fox trotting across the front lawn! Bbq was lovely and we didn't even need to buy any fuel! Garden was lovely Dottie the dog loved sniffing about, and the beach of course! High street minutes away plenty of eaty places the globe is worth a visit! two small supermarkets, chip shop ect. Lots of nice places to visit within a few miles, Christ church, mudeford, ect. The only negatives as mum unsteady on feet had to be careful of the uneven paving slabs, also due to few steps couldn't get her down to the beach, but she was happy sitting on the cliff. Also in ensuite bedroom curtains could do with being thicker as the beautiful sunshine woke us up soooo early!!! Lol

The property was situated very near to the beach, so was brilliant for dog walking.

An outside tap and hosepipe were provided for cleaning my dog, which was fantastic. There were also shops nearby, and it was easy to drive to Christchurch to see my relatives.

Very welcoming property with nice added touches by the owners.

The location was perfect, so close to everything, and such a beautiful spot. The cottage was perfect for our dogs, and so well accommodated - we didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend this perfect holiday home.

It was a very comfortable holiday home.

Very warm which surprised us as it was warm air heating. The beds were comfortable and overall cleanliness was fantastic. There were nice touches like coats available to use, just like you had borrowed a friends home. To also find that the sandy beach that was such a short walk away was very dog friendly was fantastic. No matter which direction you walked along the beach there was a coffee shop within a mile. It was a lovely holiday only made better by warmth of greeting from everyone we met While out and the comfort when we returned back to the bungalow.
