  • "Although the property was very cool on arrival, the heating worked well and the property was very comfortably warm by the next morning."

(Mid Nov '21) There is a very well designed bathroom upstairs and a small cloakroom downstairs. Both were finished to a high standard as was the kitchen area. Well kept, clean property with some close early morning neighbours (Poultry). Parking can be difficult when the next door neighbours vans make access tight especially if you drive a larger vehicle yourself. The only improvement that I would suggest is blinds on the back doors and windows. These double doors, giving access to a very nice paved back garden and do not appear to be overlooked. This property would be very suitable for a family with up to two children or couples at any time of year.

  • "The location is very picturesque, with stunning views."

Two very handy local pubs and shops within walking distance along a footpath.

  • "The house was well equipped and made a good base."

Some lovely walks from the door. Variable service at the Royal Oak, but nice pub food! Could have done with being told exactly which bins to put out for our week. The recycling was full when we got there, but it was black bin the week we were there.

Thanks for your helpful feedback. Unfortunately, we have never been provided by the local authority a schedule of bin collections but ask guests to gauge by what our neighbours have put out. This was made clear in the Welcome Letter. We take on board however the fact that one bin was full and ask our cleaners to double check each week in future. Property Owner

  • "Had a lovely week here - very modern and comfortable."

Enjoyed relaxing in pretty courtyard garden and all slept very well in comfy beds! Great location being so close to sea and lovely costal walks/runs. Perfect spot for days out in Portsmouth too. Agree with last comment a hanging rail in twin room would be really helpful. Owner communication was great too. Lovely holiday thanks

Thanks for your helpful feedback. We have taken your comments on board and we will be installing a full wardrobe in the main bedroom and moving the rail to the twin room. Property Owner

  • "A lovely cottage ."

Well equipped and very homely .Perhaps have a hanging stand like you have in the main bedroom just to have hung up my twins clothes .l would definitely recommend staying here as it is only a 10 minute drive to the main attractions like the Historic Dockyard and museums Lovely neighbours too had a nice vin Rouge with Sadie and her wife opposite !!

  • "Nice little cottage, very clean and neat with all the facilities we would hope for."

But - no blinds or curtains in the living room so we were dazzled and scorched on the sofa on a hot, sunny day. The blinds in the bedrooms were no good at keeping the light out so, with no curtains, it was bright enough to read at 4 in the morning - which is what we ended up doing. One night like that was enough so we cut the holiday short and came home.

  • "On arrival at the accommodation it hadn't been cleaned, due to you as a Company not letting the cleaners know that we were arriving!"

Luckily I was able to get hold of the owner who sorted out the situation straight away for us. We didn't receive a welcome email therefore we left the bedding on the beds. The accommodation itself was excellent. Everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful and so close to the harbour. We had a lovely stay.

  • "We had a brilliant holiday in this beautiful cottage."

Everything you could possibly need was provided. We were unable to access our emails whilst in the cottage therefore we did not receive the welcome email and the instructions for departure until we arrived home so we apologise for leaving the linen in the wrong place. We would strongly recommend this property.

Thanks for your helpful feedback. We have since changed the wifi provider to address the issue of poor signal. Property Owner

  • "Location very good for access to surrounding areas."

Village neighbours very friendly. Would benefit from a deep clean e.g. under furniture & down sides of sofa. Also removal of weeds in garden & decorators rubbish left at side of house. Local pubs very good & ideal for bird watching

Thank you for your helpful feedback and we apologise for that your experience was not up to expectation. We take comments on issues very seriously. Please be assured that we have since addressed cleaning and removal of rubbish. Property Owner

  • "This was a lovely place to stay, in an ideal location for a quiet break."

Great for running and cycling over Hayling island just over the bridge and the area by the cottage is perfect for walks. A lovely pub at the end of the road. The cottage itself is very modern and newly decorated with lovely neighbours. Highly recommend

  • "The cottage was situated in an excellent position for exploring the coastal area & fabulous walks around Langstone Harbour."

Two great pubs 5 minutes walk away. The kitchen was excellently equipped with all that is required for self catering, & a there was a very welcome breakfast pack waiting for us along with other food products which we were invited to use. In fact there was everything we needed, & if we’d forgotten our alarm clock there was a cockerel next door which started crowing at 4.15am every morning!!!!!!!!! to wake us up. He also crowed a lot during the day which again was very annoying, especially when we were sat outside trying to relax, read, sunbathing, trying to have a snooze, But that is our only negative comment. So if you want to have a relaxing time/have a lie in wear ear plugs!!!

Some information about recycling would have been helpful as every local authority has different rules.
