  • "The place is brilliant."

Looks as good or better than the picks. Lots of places to take yourself away or break into different groups and still have loads of space. Pool is great and grounds are gorgeous. Kitchen hob pretty small for the size of the place - but that’s really only the thing that I’d feed back as a negative. Every thing else is great.

Hi Kevin Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. I have taken on board your comment regarding the hob, we welcome all feedback. Hope to see you all again soon. Property Owner

  • "What a wonderful property."

We booked for a joint family 21st birthday celebration with 11 members of our family over three generations. The bedrooms were beautiful and the downstairs space worked perfectly with plenty of room for everyone to be together. As we stayed during the heat wave week! We spent most of the time in the pool - perfect with the large bifold doors opening to two sides - and then in the orangery where we could all eat together and watch the World Cup matches on the large sofa - again with the bifold doors open to two sides - and also with plenty of outdoor seating from where we could still see the large TV screen. Some of us had to work for a bit :-( and so the study and dining room were helpful in this regard although the study could do with a few more sockets. The games room with the darts, pool table and table football was brilliant for the boys - of all ages! We used the outdoor BBQ / kitchen one evening and booked a chef to cook and serve for a special sit down dinner on our last night. We thought initially to use the dining room, so we could use all of the rooms but it was such a lovely evening, we went with the orangery again. It was beautiful. With these occasional excessively hot British spells, aircon would be nice but that didn't take away from a wonderful few days. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was truly magical.

Hi Natasha Thank you for your wonderful review, we are all so pleased you had a fantastic stay at Hamble House. Property Owner
