“Hamilton Lodge was very well appointed.”

It was compact but there was enough space for a short break. Useful to have a hair dryer in the bathroom. Tea and coffee was provided bur a pint of milk would have been great. The Roman Blind came off the mechanism the first morning, it’s really too long and heavy for the short pull. Only at that point did I notice a note saying be careful high on the window. I was careful and even stood on the chair to reach it easier. The only other slight gripe was that the shower cubicle got slippy when ...

The Roman Blind came off the mechanism the first morning, it’s really too long and heavy for the short pull. Only at that point did I notice a note saying be careful high on the window. I was careful and even stood on the chair to reach it easier. The only other slight gripe was that the shower cubicle got slippy when wet and would benefit from a non slip mat. There was plenty of leaflets to give ideas for days out. We had a lovely week and would definitely return.

The property

Hamilton's Studio is an apartment situated in the seaside town of Ryde, Isle of Wight.

The great Georgian building is Grade II listed and was built for Lady Hamilton with the building next to it for Lord Nelson in 1820, and is situated in a desirable location on the seafront.

The property has been completely renovated inside, with top-of-the-range furnishings and appliances, as well as Villeroy & Boch hardwood flooring.

It opens up to an open-plan living room and dining area, which has a lovely window seat for up to three people, as well as a small breakfast table.

Also found within the room is a bespoke triple bunk bed, with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top, perfect for couples or parents with one child.

There is a fantastic fitted kitchen with solid oak worktops and white cabinets, ideal for some light cooking.

From the kitchen is a large modern shower room and WC.

Outside has a small stone garden area with furniture provided for the Hamilton Studio.

Whilst you enjoy your stay at Hamilton's Studio, why not visit Ryde Pier?

An early 19th century pier, it is the oldest seaside pleasure pier and today still allows walkers to enjoy its fantastic views, and it is only two minutes walk to sandy beaches.

Also nearby is Amazon World Zoo Park, which features exotic animals from South America, including meerkats.

It is the perfect day trip for you and your little one.

With an array of great eateries and shops nearby the property is also excellently located at a nexus of transportation links, within 2 minutes walking distance the property has the following links: hovercraft, train, passenger ferry, bus terminals and a taxi rank, and it is less than 2 hour journey from London with train and ferry.
