Rob, the host is a great at communication, even messaging to say that the cleaning was complete so we could check in early.
Access is easy with a key safe and digital door pad. The building is warm and the heating efficient and easy to control. The apartment is in a great position with a nice outlook . Parking vouchers were provided, for on street parking, but spaces were not always easy to locate, especially at the weekend, even in March. The new prom is great to walk along, with plenty of refreshment stops, although work is still underway in one part. The apartment has everything that is needed but lacks finesse as very few things match. The beds are very saggy and although the bathroom functions fine it is rough in places e.g. there is a large crack in the bath panel which someone has attempted to mend, badly, with silicone. There are very few electrical sockets so extension leads are all over each room which made me wonder how safe it was. Overall we had a good week but would not return to this property.
My Mum and I had a lovely 4 night stay.
It’s our first break away for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. The flat was lovely and clean and had everything needed for our stay. It was warm and quiet with some beautiful views of the sea. The beach was a 5 minute walk away. It was local to shops with a co op to the left just up the road and town centre just 10 minutes walk away to the right. It was easy to get around and visit places both on foot ( and we did cheat and get a couple of Ubers when visiting elsewhere. But that’s how we roll ) there are however buses and bus stops nearby to take you to wherever you want to go. I can’t comment on the parking as we didn’t drive. All in all it was a fantastic little holiday
