As we entered the lodge, we were greeted with flowers, wine and homemade Welsh cakes, which was lovely touch. The owners couldn't do enough for you and were close at hand if you needed anything. Loved the underfloor heating, instant hot water, all mod cons and the hot tub was lush, it got used everyday/night and listened to the owls hooting in the evening or woodpeckers in the day! Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed their daily walks up the fields and if you let them out through the day you didn't have to worry about them escaping as the place is fully fenced. It was a little treasure!. If your looking for a bit of peace, quiet, privacy and a retreat from all the busyness of everyday life, what a place to stay. It's a open plan, new & modern lodge, It felt like home for the week, loved it. I wish we could have picked it up and taken it with us. A fabulous stay. We didn't want to leave....
