  • "Palace Farmhouse is outstanding!"

We found Palace Farmhouse to be a very comfortable and well-appointed "upside down" property which allows visitors to enjoy beautiful views of the Herefordshire countryside from the living areas. Set in a quiet location, a bonus for dog owners is that it not only accepts dogs but actively welcomes them! Our three West Highland White Terriers had great fun watching the horses, pigs and fowl from the upstairs windows, and we had peace of mind knowing that when we let them outside, it was to a safe and secure enclosed garden. It was only myself, my husband and our dogs staying in the Farmhouse, but there were two ensuite king-size double bedrooms and a lovely, attached suite of rooms with a double bedroom, bathroom and open plan kitchen sitting room available, making it perfect for holidaying with friends and family. We have no hesitation in recommending the Palace Farmhouse for anyone who wants to visit Hereford and the Welsh Marches.

My grandson thoroughly enjoyed feeding the pigs too. With a secluded garden our dogs were safe and enjoyed thier stay. Views were amazing and everyone in our party have said they would like to return .

The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Nothing has been spared when it comes to attention to detail and making you feel at home. Kay was so welcoming and we (and our dogs) thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the grounds and saying hello to the horses and pigs. The location of the property is perfect - so many places to visit within a 30 - 40 min drive. I cannot recommend Palace Farm highly enough and would love to go back there again and enjoy more of the Herefordshire countryside.

The accomodation alone made it, but the welcome from our hosts, with the freedom of the farm and making new best friends in the Kune pigs and the resident horses really was the icing on the cake. Comfortable beds and kitchen/living areas, lovely well kept bathrooms. It was so nice we actually struggled to go out while we stayed there!! :) I would recommend a stay to anyone without hesitation.

  • "My family and I loved every minute of our stay at the Palace Farmhouse."

A stunning house and beautiful scenery made this a perfect place to getaway and relax. The owners Kay and Brian were wonderful hosts and we’re both very friendly and approachable. Kay was more than happy to show us around the farm, and she introduced myself and one of my daughters to all the horses, pigs, ducks and ducklings. My other daughter who is both blind and autistic absolutely loved her stay and didn’t want to leave. She especially loved staying in the annex. She said it was easy for her to find her way around and it helped to make her feel independent. Lastly our Labrador Dexter loved his stay too. He loved sniffing around the garden and saying hello to the sheep and horses. He especially loved going to say hello to the pigs everyday before going on his walks. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can..

Thank you for such lovely feedback… do come back and see the ducks all grown up… We loved meeting you. So pleased Emily was independent Property Owner

such a beautifully well designed and thought out property down to the smallest of details, the old beams throughout and having the kitchen / living room and dining area upstairs was a genius idea as you get the most beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. At night all you can hear is nature its truly wondaful. The accommodation was luxurious nice soft duvets an pillows that you sank into and didn't want to leave in the morning, each room has its own en-suite bathroom which the kids were very excited about :) I love the copper finishes in the main kitchen and the tap to make a cuppa T was great this saves energy and time. The animals on the farm were a firm favourite of the whole family and we enjoyed some fresh duck eggs for breakfast on one of the days (yum yum) We were warmly welcomed by the owners of the property and they were always happy to help or answer any questions we had. By the time we next visit Palace Farm the games room should be up and running which will be great! thank you so much for a lovely relaxing stay at your farm, The Goater family

Thank you so much - Palace Farm is our home not just a holiday let. It means so much to us to know you had a special family holiday. I know your children will be keen to look out for hedgehogs now :) - do come back again and bring family and friends. Kay and Brian Property Owner
