    We came here for a fishing holiday, as a family of five, staying in the kingfisher lodge next to the lake. It was exactly the experience we were looking for, peaceful, tranquil, and a lovely setting. Lodges are built around a haven of wildlife As a added bonus, throughout our stay, we saw rabbits moorhens wandering freely around the lake, along with the entertaining geese, and ducks,making the whole place full of life There were plenty of large carp in the lake, so be prepared for some excellent carp fishing. There are also some bream, and perch, to catch as well. The holiday complex has recently been taken over by new owners, and as a result, the previous reviews have been removed from this property, but don't let that put you off—the new owners are extremely polite, welcoming, and helpful. During our stay, we were reminded of any help we may require, to contact themselves directly. They even offered us extra fans because we happened to be visiting during a heatwave. The hot tub was a welcoming addition to our holiday, whilst experiencing a full heat wave, could not of managed without it .We had a fantastic stay, and would happily recommend Phocle Lake to anyone looking for a relaxing fishing holiday. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Thankyou
