  • "We arrived at The Cider House after a long drive and was pleasantly surprised with the location of the property and the well stocked house which had everything for your basic needs."

The welcome breakfast basket was very appreciated and filled with the farms local produce. A really warm and welcoming touch by our hosts who greeted us as we parked up as well as their two beautiful 10 month old collies. Alas our 8 yr old husky was not up for playing with them and preferred to laze away in the perfectly lawned and enclosed gardens. Once Trudie and Dominique had informed us of the farms workings and the nearby walks we were then left to enjoy our holiday but always on hand if anything was needed. As the weather for the week was very hot it was a relief to discover that the house kept relatively cool inside. It was nice to enjoy alfresco dining on the patio area as well. This is a working farm with sheep, stabled horses and farm machinery but noise levels were kept to a minimum and although a building extension was going on, again, the owners were very mindful of keeping noise to a minimum. The super king size bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well all throughout our stay. The location was a good base to visit surrounding areas near and afar. We visited Tewksbury Abbey, shopped at Hereford with its majestic Cathedral and enjoyed the long walks around Symmonds Yat and Croft Castle Parklands. Broadway and Bourton on the Water are our favourite haunts for cream teas and gift shopping. We certainly recommend Cider House and are looking to return next year. A big thank you to Trudie and Dominique who couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We wish them all the best in what seems to be a relatively new venture.

Property very clean and well equipped. Felt very comfortable and nice and quiet. Nice to see all of the animals. Would recommend Cider House to stay as was like home from home. Enjoyed our holiday very much.

  • "Very nice cottage."

Well presented and very comfortable for two, three or four. Only adverse comment is that we found the broadband a bit intermittent which made watching the TV on catch up frustrating. Otherwise excellent for a week or two away from home.

  • "We have had many good holiday lets in the past but this one is most definitely the best!"

Can highly recommend for comfort, location, cleanliness and the friendliness of the owners. We had to tear ourselves away at the end of the holiday! We will return! The animals were an added bonus, as was the little basket of goodies on our arrival. It is situated in a lovely area so plenty to explore, and some nice places to eat a short drive away. a very big thank you to Trudie, Dominic.....and the very entertaining lambs!!

  • "We had a great time at the Cider Press."

We were greeted by the owner and a lamb being born in the field opposite the cottage - a great way to start our holiday. There was a delicious welcome hamper in the cottage. The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and warm. There was a list of local pubs, information about the farm and that the ducks like peas so we had to buy some to feed them and the owners were on hand to help out with anything we needed. Very relaxing stay in a beautiful location. We walked around the farm following footpaths, visited Berrington Hall and Croft Castle and ate at The Fountain in Tenbury Wells. The great weather helped and we have booked to go back as it was so lovely.

  • "Wonderful quiet and relaxing stay."

Cottage has everything you might need and more. Utility room was a godsend after long muddy walks with dog, we could towel him dry and then wash towels. The garden, patio and parking areas are substantial, for a holiday cottage and dog secure. The owners were always friendly and happy to help. We really enjoyed our relaxing holiday and will be back again soon.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cider House and have already booked to return next year."

The cottage is in a wonderful, peaceful location, but also central to being able to easily explore the local surroundings plus local walks. The cottage is warm, cosy and well stocked with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The enclosed garden is spacious and ideal for a dog to run around in. We loved seeing the animals on the farm, especially at feeding time. Trudie and Dominic are the perfect hosts with the excellent array of ‘goodies’ left for our arrival being much appreciated.

It’s centrally located for exploring the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire. Located on a farm in a lovely rural spot, it’s also only about three miles / a ten minute drive into Leominster, where there are plenty of shops etc. I had a very enjoyable week staying here and the hosts are very welcoming and around if needed.

No bath which was a shame, two showers installed but really needs a bath or a hot tub to be installed. The above really would make the accommodation so much more comfortable.
