Woofferton is best known for being home to the Woofferton Transmitting Station, a historic station that dates back to the Second World War. The quaint village provides visitors with a tranquil base where they can explore the nearby towns of Ludlow and Tenbury Wells; Ludlow is home to several historic landmarks, including a glorious castle and museum, to appease those eager history fans, while Tenbury wells is home to a fabulous swimming pool where visitors can spend the day splashing in its waters.
