The cottage had everything you could ever need only down side was the tv it's to small for the size of the lounge. But would definitely recommend it to anyone. 10/10

We had a lovely break at Greenacres, couldn't believe the trouble the owner went to baking home made cakes and giving us a bottle of wine, we also had enough tea sugar and other incidentals, to make our stay very enjoyable, thank you once again it was greatly appreciated

  • "Green Acres is spacious & comfortable with fabulous views."

It has a well equipped kitchen, quality towels & bed linen. Only the occasional farm vehicle passes by from the owner's farm so it's very quiet & peaceful. The lane is off the A49 so there is easy access to surrounding areas. Visited 2 nearby National Trust sites, Croft Castle & Berrington Hall. Hosts & family are very helpful and friendly and provide a good welcome pack of home made cake, wine & flowers plus kitchen towel & enough milk, tea, coffee & sugar to to get you started. Had a very enjoyable holiday.

Very nice welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, very nice home-made cake and a nice bottle of wine. Only downside was that the oven needed cleaning. This may well have been done by now.

Used on the spur of the moment, due to another host cancelling on us after we had already driven 100 miles. Lovely place and setting and did apologise for the lack of notice, but really appreciated you fitting us in. We know you said you usually leave flowers and cake out, which we felt bad about, so my daughter and I picked you some flowers to say thanks! :)

  • "We were six adults staying at Greenacres for a New Year's eve break and the cottage was perfect."

Great quiet location yet close to Ludlow and other attractions. The cottage was very comfortable and felt very homely. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make evening meals for six. The two double bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. The twin was a bit on the small side for two adults but comfortable nonetheless. We really appreciated the nice welcome gifts and being able to check a little later than required. Only improvement would be the kettle which didn't work very well. Bit only a very minor inconvenience. We had a great time and would highly recommend Greenacres.

Quiet rural location only a short drive away from ludlow and leominster. The house was spotlessly clean and the welcome cake and wine was a nice touch. All of the rooms are a good size. The only slight issue was the tv in the living room is slightly too small for the size of the living room. I would rate the property 9.9 out of 10. If the tv was bigger i would rate it 10 out of 10

The bungalow was lovely and clean, just needed to clean the sugar and coffee containers. We had no problem finding the place and on the whole it was lovely and quiet, it was nice sitting outside on the patio enjoying the lovely weather. Garden was well enclosed so we didn’t have to worry about Louis, our dog, getting out. We had a problem with the tv which was dealt with promptly by the owners. Well equipped with everything we needed, and nice to have the homemade cakes, wine, milk and flowers.

  • "We could not find any information sheet showing - the nearest medical facilities, recycling facilities, ATM, Petrol, Vets, Church, Supermarket, Post Office, Park & Ride, etc."

WE HAD NO VISIT BY THE OWNERS DURING OUR STAY. Early doors, we made contact with the owners, by mobile phone, about the appalling wi-fi but nothing was done. The situation of the property needs to be emphasised that access is by a single-lane, poorly maintained. road which is also used by farm vehicles, commercial vehicles as well as residents, dog walkers, and pedestrians. On property maintenance, the sugar caddy contained solidified contents, the tea container had 2 two Earl Grey tea bags and one teabag of doubtful origin. The coffee container had 3 coffee bags on top of some instant coffee granules, again of doubtful origin. Apart from a smart TV, there was no CD or DVD player. 'Attention to detail' would be my watchword. Oh, I couldn't find the carbon monoxide alarm recommended on the last 2023 central heating boiler service sheet, found in the kitchen. I am/ we are NOT mystery shoppers, just Jo Public with reasonably wide experience of using self-catering both here, and in the. USA, Canada, and Western Europe.

Thank you for your feedback - it’s a shame you didn’t enjoy your stay. The bungalow is advertised that’s in a rural location on the edge of a village, and unfortunately there’s not much we can do about that. However, we have managed to now sort the Wi-Fi and have replaced the carbon monoxide alarm. Property Owner

We stayed for three weeks before Christmas and being at the end of a dead end road surrounded by sheep and cows was exactly what we needed to wind down before the Christmas festivities. We had NO hot water at all in the morning and found that hot water was only available from about 1pm onwards. This caused a problem with 5 people wanting to shower each morning but being unable to do so. Other than this property was well equipped and very clean . An added bonus was the welcome pack and the Xmas decorations and tree.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and apologise for the shower problems, which were difficult to fix over the Christmas period. A brand new shower has now being fitted and the water is now hot. Thanks Property Owner

The provision of fresh flowers , a homemade cake and other goodies was lovely and much appreciated. The only let down was that the shower and washing machine didn't work despite following the instructions to get past the hitches. I meant to leave a note about this but time ran out. It didn't spoil the stay as there was a bath with lashings of hot water and the l Convenient utility room enabled essential hand washing. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely look to return if in the area.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Apologies for the couple of issues, a new fully functioning washing machine has now being installed as well as a new shower with plenty of warm water. Thanks Property Owner
