The Stables

Place was nice but way too closed in which did not show on the listing.

I appreciated how it had been done and everything was practical but it felt like as many accommodations had been crammed together as possible. This is far from a cottage but we appreciated the hospitality and the location/village was top.

Very well equipped holiday cottage, amazingly comfortable beds and bedding, spotlessly clean and managers very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.

Great experience.

Quiet location halfway between village centre and cliffs/beach.

Nicely decorated and comfortable. Excellent starting point for walks. Brighstone offers a well stocked Village Shop, and the café next to it serves great coffee and cake! Friendly owners - we very much enjoyed our stay.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful place on the Island.

Everything was provided for and the hosts were friendly. Will definitely rebook.

We found the Stables very clean and comfortable, facilities were excellent and the hosts very friendly, couldn't fault the accommodation in any way , this made a wonderful time we had on the island even more enjoyable would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying again when we come back to the I.

Beautiful part of the island.

Owners were welcoming and friendly, there if we needed although The Stables gave us everything we hoped for and more, in a peaceful village on a farm. It was cosy and well equipped. Would highly recommend. Great for our dog and the short break that we wanted.

We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped.

It’s in a nice quiet area and Brighstone has a well stocked shop, a pub and 2 cafes. This was our second stay here and hope to be back in the New Year.

A charming property in a beautiful location on the Isle of Wight.

The accommodation is compact but well laid out and perfectly comfortable for a family and dog for a few nights. It was clean, private and well equipped, the owners made us feel very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location for visiting all parts of the island.

The property could do with some tlc.The kitchen , appliances and bathroom area particularly.The Stables door didn’t lock and was difficult to open

Fantastic place to stay and lovely owners.

The kids loved seeing the horses which were on the property next to us and loved being able to go and see them up close. A lovely well kept and peaceful place to stay for a holiday. Highly recommend.

Also so a lovely welcome package of biscuits cheese and wine which was a lovely surprise

We had a great time staying at The Stables which was very comfortable and warm.

The Stables is a lovely place to stay.

We really loved that it is all on one level and that the kitchen and social area is all open plan - it just works. The location feels very secure and we enjoyed proper peace and quiet. Didn’t want to come home, which is always a good sign! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We did a very last minute booking and the cottage was clean, cosy, welcoming and very well equipped.

The welcoming pack was a lovely gesture too. We were so comfortable abd despite the very bad weather, the cottage was so quiet and calm. The bed was far too comfortable and we slept very well and managed to lay in a few times. We will certainly come back to stay and thoroughly recommend it to others. We were lucky enough to meet the horses in the stables on our last day, which was delightful, they are so lovely. The location is lovely and remote with a great local pub nearby for good food. Looking forward to our next visit

House was lovely and kept clean and the owners were very friendly and accommodated everything we needed :) 10/10!
