Glebe Garth

Glebe Garth is a lovely holiday house from which to explore the IOW.

The only issue we had was the WiFi connection not working. The beds were very comfortable as was the lounge furniture for relaxing. Good outdoor furniture too for eating and relaxing and the garden was perfect for the children to play in. Generally the kitchen was well equipped but was missing oven gloves, sieve and colander. Also no condiments or tea, coffee and sugar which is normally provided but nice welcome pack of bread, butter and milk. We had a great 3 nights and would have liked to stay longer. Would definitely recommend the property for families.

We were pleased with the house, welcome pack, location, information, and hot tub.

Beds were all comfy and rooms were spacious and clean. Our only concern was the strong smell in the top floor bathroom. It was present for the whole stay. It was not a drains smell more stale or if someone had smoked in the room previously.

What an absolutely beautiful house!

Plenty of space and the garden was big enough for us. Beds were really comfortable and all the bedrooms a great size. Lovely welcome gifts but could do with some tea and coffee to get you started. Could also do with a washing line or clothes rack to dry clothes on, it was such beautiful weather it was a shame to hang washing all over the house. The only downside of the house was the noise from the boiler / water tank that was in the kids bedroom. It make a really loud noise all day and all night (not constantly). It was fine once my 5 year old got to sleep but she struggled to go to sleep and it woke her up early.

We had a lovely week there. It was very clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. It was in a great location to visit many places. The White Mouse inn was a 5 minute walk away and was lovely. We had a major issue on the bank holiday Monday with the en-suite toilet which thankfully we managed to deal with and after a late night call to the caretaker a plumber arrived the next day and all was dealt with very well. We spent so much time in the lovely little garden and the bird life was a pleasure. We would definitely stay again. It would’ve been so nice to have had a visitor book to have written in. I always like to read what others have said and their reviews and places to visit. A lovely week. Thank you. The Flanagans from Christchurch.

Bedrooms were very comfortable.

Well decorated throughout. Convenient location. Enjoyed the Wight Mouse Inn with young family. Kitchen was not up to the standard of the rest of the property. This is not a detached property as stated and it is close enough to a road to be noisy. Access to parking and space for parking is difficult to use.

Really happy with everything was a lovely stay Only thing we commented on was could do with couple more sockets on third floor bedroom

We had a lovely week, very comfortable and very very comfortable beds, slept very well.

Garden lovely and outside seating area. Our only problem was not enough light in the living room, rather dark to read or play games. Apart from that we throughly enjoyed our time.

We booked this for a holiday with our grandchildren.

The hot tub was a feature we were really keen on. When we arrived the tub was cold and was not hot until our second day. The tub then malfunctioned. We reached out for support more than once and got none. The house is very cute, and so is the garden. It lacks some basics (like a way to make coffee) that could be expected from a house of this standard. The living room stank of smoke because of the burnt wood being stored there. Overall a very mixed experience

Charming cottage, clean, cosy, high quality decor and fixtures.

Pretty garden and lovely countryside views. Good location to travel the short distance to local places of interest, including the spectacular coast line and walking trails.
