Dairy Cottage

Just returned from a wonderful week at Dairy Cottage.

The cottage itself is perfect with everything you could need and is in a great location to explore the whole island. We would definitely stay here if we visit again.

Very quiet property with all amenities at the end of a road that ends between the fields.

No noises: only the birds.....

We booked Dairy Cottage, along with Parlour Cottage next door, for our family holiday.

This cottage is also well appointed and had everything we could want for a great holiday. The owners were welcoming and friendly and the farm is clean and tidy. The surrounding area is stunning and offers great walks from the doorstep. We were so impressed with all the child friendly things to do on the island. And we would love to return again in the future. I have recommended the cottages to my friends.

The property was presented clean and tidy and was very nicely laid out, and was what we required.

The only thing we found was that the Seating was very low and we are getting old and getting up was hard work. Other than that all good.

We had an amazing stay .

our shower would not work and Steve was over immediately and sorted it out. We had a fabulous welcome pack waiting for us and even a Christmas tree . Beds comfortable ,kitchen very well equipped. So would love to stay there again

We enjoyed our four night stay at dairy cottage, the cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent, at the centre of the island, on a lovely farm, surrounded by fields and hills. Lovely hosts, will stay again, when we go back to the Isle of Wight. Highly recommend.

This was absolutely the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in, in every respect.

Dairy Cottage is in a delightful setting, beautiful countryside with peaceful and private patio.

The accommodation is excellent with two bedroom suites either side of the lounge diner, giving privacy to the property as and when required. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and the central location of the cottage for the islands many superb pubs, restaurants and coastal attractions. I would certainly recommend it and not hesitate to return for another great holiday !!

We took my elderly mother for her forthcoming 90th birthday and we were greeted warmly by Sarah.

The cottage was clean and inviting and was well stocked. The beds were so comfortable too. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful place. If you want peace and quiet and relaxation after a busy day then this is for you.

We have had a lovely stay at Dairy cottage - 2 adults, and 2 boys aged 4&7.

The cottage is clean and well appointed, and in a secluded nook in the middle of the island. The dishwasher and washer dryer are so helpful when you have little kids. We are outside on the patio for almost every meal. Look out for hares, baby pheasants and some seriously noisy crickets on a warm summer evening!

Dairy Cottage was outstanding, has everything you need for your stay, beautifully clean and well presented.

As for location you could not ask for better, all the places we visited were a short drive away. I would highly recommend and will be booking again

The property was really lovely.

Very clean and was really nice to stay in a property where all of the appliances worked efficiently! It was ideally placed in the centre of the island so that we could get to all aspects really easily. Would definitely recommend.

We were really pleased with the property.

Its central and peaceful location were ideal for us. Walks around that area were great too. The cottage really had everything we needed including a cafetiere! Perfect for two couples as the bedrooms comes off the sitting room/kitchen separately and have their own bathroom facilities. One has a bath and shower, the other a shower. Booking in and out were easy and what to do with recycling etc. clear. Fantastic cottage with its own patio where we watched the clear night sky!

Lovely well maintained accommodation in a nice countryside area.

Lots of lovely walks and near to anything on the Island with the car. Lovely shower in the main bedroom, but gave 4 stars only because the bath was shorter than normal off other bedroom, and we both had a job to get out of it. As we are older I expect - but there wasn’t enough room to turn on to our front and get out from kneeling position like we do in a normal bath. So only had a bath once because of this and there were good shower facilities instead. Lovely sitting area with table and chairs and well thought out planting with lavender and dry plants full of bees. Owners helpful and welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay at Dairy Cottage.

The hosts, Sarah and Steve, are friendly and helpful. The farm is situated in a beautiful area of the island, everything is within a 30 minute drive which makes it really convenient for visiting all our favourite places!!

Had an amazing time on or 2nd night strong winds knocked down power lines and the property owner took my partner to buy food as or car could not get though the road wonderful place to star gazing we already booking next year

A really great secluded location and a very well managed holiday location

What a truly rural retreat in a fab tranquil location at the centre if the Isle of Wight.

It provides a great spot to stay at within easy reach of the main towns and beaches yet tucked away from the crowds. The cottage was very comfy and homely to stay at, with the owners being very eager to ensure a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay in the cottage. Highly recommended but being the 'end of the season' maybe time to check the double bed, a little soft for our liking and sag to the centre. Nothing like your own bed I guess ! We would definitely return and look forward to staying again.

The cottage was well maintained, very clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet and peaceful location.

The main entrance & courtyard area was laid out well and attractive with grass and flowers. There was nothing to dislike about this location at all. The owner was helpful and gave us an introduction to the cottage.

Excellent venue, helpful host, the surrounding lanes and walks were beautiful, I can't remember breathing such clear air, a treat to find many bee orchids on a path near our cottage,great!

Don't need reminding at the end of my week to leave the cottage clean and tidy .

Cottage was clean and warm when we arrived. Diary Cottage was in a lovely quiet, rural location in easy reach of everywhere on the Island.

The position of the cottage was perfect as we could walk for miles if we so desired without getting the car out.

Close to Newport but also to numerous walking trails. Friendly and helpful manager. Would gladly visit again.

Having stayed in multiple locations across the planet, I can honestly say that Dairy Cottage ranks as the most tranquil to date.

Indeed, the loudest sounds were the bees buzzing in the lavender and the wind blowing in the corn field. The cottage itself is sizeable with all the facilities you might need and was cleaned to a very high standard. We really loved our stay here and will certainly return. We had a wonderful time at Dairy Cottage!

It's central location makes it an ideal base for exploring the island. We were greeted upon arrival by the owners, who were very friendly and accommodating. The surrounding area was incredibly peaceful and the cottage itself was small but well-equipped. The private patio outside was the perfect size for us, and I loved that it was gated so our children could play out there safely. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dairy Cottage and highly recommend it.

Cottage was in lovely location.

Very quiet and central for what we wanted to do. Our host was on hand for any needs we had. The cottage was very clean and came well equipped. Only downside was bedroom 2 had 2 very small single beds, and tv kept losing signal.

We were met by the owner who showed us around.

The underfloor heating and 2 foot thick walls ensured that the property was comfortlably warm. Although on a farm the site was very quiet and the surrounds well maintained. A trackway to the rear led up to the downs which would be loved by walkers. Recommended.

Very quiet and comfortable cottage.

The owner had obviously put a lot of effort into the conversion. He was very helpful on arrival, showing us round the cottage. As the location is central, every part of the island is accessible. Walking is available from the door, otherwise a vehicle is a necessity. Good internet connection.

A dish-washer would have been appreciated.

A home from home cottage.

Had tea, coffee, sugar and milk waiting for us, towels provided too. In center of island so in easy reach of all locations. We could have done with a softer mattress, but another than that, we would go again.

The cottage was well stocked.

It was such a nice surprise to find washing up liquid, washing powder, milk and soap in both bathrooms. The cottage was in a beautiful,peaceful position. I would definetly recommend this cottage. The only thing missing was an outdoor swimming pool and some farm animals!
