Very nice lovely little home from home.
Would be nice if there was a small folder with important info in..i.e history of the place...trips out etc wifi password etc. However this didnot effect our stay. Stairs not great for less mobile people...again..didnt effect us too much. Hot tub fantastic. Lovely hosts...wonderful to watch the horses everyday!! All in all we had fab time...lots of cuddles with the doggos!!! Would deffo stay again.
This is a small holiday home on the board of a busy stables.
We had a friendly greering and welcome pack in the fridge. The photos on the listing give the impression of a bigger property, but that said, there was plenty of room for the 2 of us. Towels and bedding was provided, but a fan for the bedroom upstairs would have been great in the very hot weather as the window downstairs doesn't open so it's difficult to get a good draft!
Quite the worst holiday accommodation we have been offered.
Booked for five nights, stayed one. Plant growing through the kitchen window, cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, broken flooring in the hall and broken window fittings preventing windows from being held open. Owners dogs followed us barking each time we left the courtyard. The hot tub is overlooked by four of the houses windows. Garden furniture very poorly maintained. Do Sykes ever inspect the accommodation they offer? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
