North West Sea View No. 3

We enjoyed staying here, the location and views are wonderful.

Would have been helpful to have soap in the bathroom and more blankets as the duvet is quite thin. Would recommend for a short break and would stay here again

The draw of this property has to be the view from the patio doors .

The ever changing tides , in just a week we had millpond calm to raging white horses . Spectacular. The property itself was comfortable enough for us . Furniture etc a bit dated but this was very good value for money . Remember to bring everything with you as you only have one bin liner , 1 toilet roll , you will need to bring towels , handwashing etc and we also struggled to find a bottle opener . So just come prepared. The owner was really responsive and dealt with providing a warmer quilt and also a WIFI issue so any problems just contact John . It would be nice to have some recycling facilities on site as everything went in the bin as nowhere to recycle. Having said all the above we loved our week visiting family and We will definitely be back as we loved this chalet so much .

Everything was perfect for Baloo ( my collie) and I.

I never mastered the shower which was hot or hot, but the accommodation was very comfortable and the view of the sea at night or early morning ( we were up at 5.00am) was fantastic. Thank you for a great holiday.

The only good thing was the sea views, patio doors,dirty filthy,curtains dirty filthy,floors looked dirty, there was dog mess under the pouffe which my husband had to clean up, the bed had a dip in it, so you were stuck in one place, & the worst part was I couldn’t even have a shower for the whole week because the water was too hot & couldn’t get no cold , it was to dangerous to use , try it three times, no regulator to get the the temperature, only hot water coming threw, surely this shower she be condemned & against regulations, someone is going to get seriously burnt!

I had to wash in the basin everyday & my husband, completely destroyed the holiday!

We had a great holiday the only negative as mentioned on previous visits is the lack of a freezer compartment in the fridge for having ice for drinks and storage of food that needs to be kept frozen also to keep freezer blocks frozen for cool box.

We feel that this is a basic requirement. We have already booked for next year.

We have stayed at the Boathouse apartments many times over the years and John is always friendly and helpful.

All facilities we needed were there. The place could be cleaner as there was dust round the door inserts and edges, stair rails and TV stand. Just a wipe over, which I gave them, would have improved the first impression. I swapped our duvet to one stored in bedroom cupboard as it was very thin and wasn't warm enough. Bedroom nets have mould on them and catch doesn't close and a second bedside table would be useful. The shower room floor tiles are very worn and do not feel hygienic. The location and view are excellent which keeps us returning. Property just needs a little TLC.

Had a great holiday place was clean and tidy the only fault I can say is there should be a code or something like that to get a discount on the ferry if I new how much the ferry was I wouldn’t of book to go there I think whight link should bring there prices down before it stops people going there for there holidays I payed £282.

00 for a return ticket way to much for that crossing sorry

Very nice location but the cottage needs updating, pound coin electric meter very old fashioned and was always worried about running out of coins should be included in price or a little extra added on to make things a little less stressful.

The heating consisted of some oil filled radiators which were very ineffective and used a lot of energy so we had to stop using them. Surely in this day and age central heating should be a basic requirement.

Perfect for a quite get away

This is our third stay in the Boathouse apartments, first time in No 3.

The property itself was ideal but there were various unsatisfactory features: Tiling on bathroom floor needs replacing as is worn and is not hygienic. Shower controls need securing/renewing and pressure needs improving. Electric towel rail is loose. Cooker controls have worn away so you cannot read the temperature setting. Duvet was thin and worn and pillows very flat. Windows bedroom needs attention ... condensation and dirty windowsill. DVD very noisy - needs upgrading as it is nice to use this if weather is bad. Needs to be highlighted that the electricity for the property runs on meter. Basic condiments would be nice as there was not even salt and pepper. The property itself is ideally located and is cosy but these enhancements would have immensely improved our stay.

The accommodation was pretty basic although it’s position was superb - situated right on the beach.

We holidayed in February so knew it was going cold outside but the heating inside was inadequate plus it there was an electric meter which required £1 coins. If this was in the spec, I did not read it before arrival. In addition to the above the duvets were thin. As said this cottage was in a lovely location, with basic accommodation and inadequate heating appliances. I am sure it would be a fantastic place to stay in the summer.

The kitchen and lounge furniture could do with a bit of updating but it did not detract from our holiday.

Brilliantly situated right on the pebble beach, note you cannot bathe, too dangerous.

Property has everything you need. 20 mins walk into town but you have the excellent Boathouse cafe 50 yards away, no evenings or Tuesdays. John (owner) is most helpful, girls in cafe too, everyone on the island is so friendly, and most of all for us, dog friendly. Booked again for next year. You cannot go wrong here.

Absolutely idyllic.

. couldn’t be closer to the beach and walks in abundance in every direction and fishing if you fancy almost from your patio !! Close to amenities the property is well equipped, spacious, comfortable and has the added bonus of help getting to sleep with the sounds of the sea ! The sunset views are memorable and although the weather wasn’t the best it didn’t detract. Most that have visited express their wish to return... ditto that

The perfect place to properly relax, unwind and recharge the batteries!

Apartment is warm and dry with all you need for a great break. Close to Yarmouth, right on the seafront, great walks very close by and a fab cafe at the other end of the block. What more could you want?!

The location is superb with wonderful views of the Solent and so close to an outstanding cafe staffed by lovely people.

The rental is very well equipped and comfortable. The water pressure is good in the kitchen but pathetic in the bathroom rendering the shower next to useless. TV reception is sometimes nonexistent. These problems should not be met when paying what is not a budget rent,they are spoiling the experience and could easily solved with a little more investment. This holiday rental could be so much better if these problems did not exist - a shame. Rob Young Swanmore. Hants

From time of booking up to departure we were reminded of deadlines for payments, given all the information we could possibly have needed and now the opportunity to bring to your attention any problems, if we'd had any.

Boat house 3 Isle of Wight once again it have exceeded to make our holiday a very happy one .

Great location: seafront and tranquil.

Helpful owner. Great place to start walks from and plenty to see nearby. Lack of power in the shower and also lack of washing machine make it harder for longer holidays. Also coin electricity meter a bit tedious; would be better to pay extra and include electricity use in the price.

Great holiday let very clean and tidy loads of space great bed perfect holiday location lots to see and do.

heaven on earth for us. beautiful setting whatever the weather. very comfortable. everything there that is needed. even internet now. john the owner is absolutely brilliant and so helpful. wonderful little cafe/bistro next door. fort victoria now has lots of attractions too. very dog friendly. really recommend any of the boathouses

Another fabulous visit to Boat House 3.

Best setting ever even in adverse weather conditions as can sit and watch the Solent through the big windows. Very warm and comfortable. The new TV brilliant and now internet connections too. Dog friendly. Owner John so helpful.

The position of our apartment overlooking the sea was absolutely breathtaking, very comfortable and relaxing.

The dog loved the walks through the woods and down into Yarmouth. We will endeavour to book the same apartment in 2017. Brilliant
