“The arrangements were organised very well and we met Mr Brady at the allotted time.”
The cottage was comfortable for the two of us, it would have suited a couple and a child, but I think four people would have struggled.
We did not cook during our stay, but the kitchen equipment seemed to be satisfactory, although it would be very useful to have a small freezer, even just for making ice within the fridge. A bit more shelving space in the bathroom and a larger shower head would also be useful. But the very hot water was ideal.
We used the cafe next door for coffee/tea/Sunday lunch - a roast carvery and for a breakfast. All very good.
The walk into Yarmouth is not far, which again is a bonus. There is a small stretch of beach that is slightly difficult to walk on due to the stones and if walking at night, you do need a torch.
All in all we had a very enjoyable week and this was an ideal quiet base to get out and about to see the Island.
