Loved the location and the walk to the local cove was short.

Great play area for the children. Comfortable with everything we needed. Including a folding washing line. Flimsy lightweight blind in the top bedroom velux window means you are woken up at dawn; take an eye mask. The doors are heavy fire doors with hinges that close them. Unfortunately the children couldn’t open them to use the toilet so we had to wedge their door open.

This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.

The upside down lounge means you have an ever changing sea view. There are fields and a path leading down to the coastal path. The beach is minutes away tho not suitable for low mobility/ very small kids due to terrain. There is a stunning beach just a few minutes further along the coastal path which is totally unspoilt. It has a couple of cafes, shingles and sand, and quaint homes. It was very quiet when we visited. The botanical gardens are literally next door. Our teens loved the games room, with darts and table tennis. There is even a 9 hole mini golf course with the most beautiful back drop of lambs, woods and of course the sea. There a resident pony and donkey too. Our hosts Penny and family really looked after us. If you like birds this is idyllic. The birdsong is wonderful. There are beautiful small lizards that come out to bask on the stunning stone buildings and it was fascinating watching them over a coffee on the patio in the mornings. The turning into the cottage is very tight so just be aware when you arrive. We will absolutely be returning to this gorgeous place.

Very good, was what we expected.

Fresh clean bedding, every thing worked, very good water pressure. TV a bit on the small side, WI-FI was a bit intermittent, and we had trouble with the lock on the shower room. Otherwise very comfortable for eight. BBQ and pizza oven had not been cleaned out, we left them cleaner than we found them. Out side space was amazing, lovely cliff walks to village and Steephill cove, would come back again.
