Wonderful location, quite and peaceful.

The Goose Shed was well equipped, immaculate, very comfortable and spacious. We thoughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely peaceful location, house is well maintained and clean, all the facilities are there.

It proved to be an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Clean, modern and well equipped with good walking for our dog on the doorstep and with a very secure enclosed garden it ticked all the boxes for us. The owner was very helpful in the very hot weather, offering to supply additional fans to help us keep cool and even a sprinkler. We would certainly recommend this holiday cottage.

The property is very spacious and well equipped.

The decor and finishing touches were lovely and to our taste. Outside the garden was enclosed with plenty of space for our dog and a little one to ride her trike. We contacted the owner one evening as we had a problem with the induction job and she came straight round to solve it. We had a wonderful week with glorious weather. We explored lots of different places and were surprised at how beautiful the countryside and buildings are.

Well, what can I say, Excellent in every way.

We has a lovely time at the Goose shed, a great location for exploring Kent with a very comfortable and well equipped accommodation as a base.

We had a lovely time in the Goose shed, it was lovely and clean and had everything we needed and in a great location.

With 4 children with us they loved playing football in the garden, and the lounge area was comfy for all of us to sit. We loved the big round dinning table to eat at and play games. Bathrooms were great and we loved the showers. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Everything has really been thought of. Very clean too. Would definitely return. Great central location to explore Kent from.

Honestly, the listing was spot on.

The living room/kitchen area was spacious, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. Having the washroom with a washing machine was great too, which meant that we could wash our muddied clothes after our walks. Location was perfect, as we were somewhere very quiet, yet close enough to go to the shops comfortably. One downside is that some of the provided pots and pans have a warped bottom, which made cooking a bit challenging.

A beautiful cottage .

It is cosy and homely and has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing stay. Kate is exceptionally helpful as a host. I couldn’t recommend this properly highly enough.

Perfect Place, warm and cosy.

Great facilities with everything you could need provided. Very peaceful. Great for Dog Walks and generally just chilling. The owner is super helpful. I recommend the walk up the fields and also into the Woods. This is our second visit with the family and we will be back again. Perfection...

Lovely remote property, which was perfect for a quiet family get away.

Good quality bedding and towels. The bedrooms were very spacious, would have liked all 3 beds to have been king-size, found the 2 doubles a little 'snug'. But we had a great stay nevertheless. Good location for Canterbury and coastal towns. All in all a good find and would recommend.

We found a perfect place to stay.

Everything was absolutely comfortable and we enjoyed the Goose Shed from the first minute. A peaceful place where we could recharge our batteries brilliantly.

Very clean and comfortable everything you needed. The bed was super comfortable good quality bedding and nice large quality towels. Ideal location for discovering the area. We will certainly be booking this property again.

Very well laid out and spacious property for the six in our party.

Tastefully furnished and well equipped we could not fault it. Also, plenty of good walks for the dog direct from the barn.

The shed is excellent and Kent is wonderful. The walks around the cottage are so beautiful. The golden our is the best time to walk. Kate is a very nice host. She give us a warm welcome. Thank you Kate, for everything.

Property was beautiful.

Well appointed and spacious. Lovely sunny outdoor space and lucky enough to have lovely weather. Welcome bottle of wi e and chocolates were a nice touch. Also great that there was a bottle of milk and teabags provided. If I had to fault anything it was 2 very minor points in that the bin lid did not work properly and couldn't seem to locate a shaver point but certainly not a huge problem. Would not hesitate to recommend this property as the location is great - close to Canterbury and several wildlife parks and the coast and would stay here again if I return to this area.

We had a fabulous week staying at The Goose Shed.

We had everything we needed, to enjoy our break. Each room is beautifully decorated and comfortable with little extras such as hairdryers and blankets. The kitchen, dining, living space offered the perfect space to relax in. The bedrooms are lovely and roomy and the beds, supper comfy. It’s the perfect home from home to relax in, chill in the garden or explore the surrounding area. The owner checked in on us at the start of a huge thunder and lightning storm, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is the third time we have stayed here and we will definitely return again.

Well equipped kitchen. Information about walking possibilties would have been welcome. We found a very nice connection from the Goose Shed to Canterbury, as if we were true pilgrims.

Very spacious and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was secure for the dog and we had a great stay at the Goose Shed which is central to a number of places to visit and we would book it again. Kate was a very welcoming owner. Its a 5 star holiday home.

Great shower! Everything you could need in the kitchen. If you have a dog, a great bonus is the nearby dog park. Be aware, you will need to drive to nearest shop/pub, but shop stocks everything and there was a lamb feeding station on site! Only issue was a slight ant infestation, but v minor, otherwise spotlessly clean.

Great outdoor space, a shame it's gone a bit slimy in places but just like at home I suspect it's due to all the recent rain and lack of sunshine reaching it to dry it out. Otherwise 10/10.

The holiday home is gorgeous.

Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We arrived to refreshments including wine and strawberries which were delicious. The owner was really accommodating and helped us to find the farm entrance in the dark when we arrived late at night. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful barn conversion in a lovely rural situation.

We were looking for something a bit special for a few days stay and the Goose Shed certainly exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Lovely decor, comfortable furnishings including beds, super bathrooms, well equipped kitchen- the property certainly had the wow factor! Very peaceful and quiet but ideally situated for exploring East Kent. Nearby Goodnestone Gardens was an unexpected gem - Kate is a lovely accommodating host who gave us great recommendations and helped us with directions before we arrived. Thank you for a lovely stay on your peaceful farm. Wonderful autumn break.

We would highly recommend staying at The Goose Shed.

It’s in a gorgeous rural setting(very quiet). It is situated close to Canterbury and in a good position to reach other nearby places easily. Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. The secure garden was brilliant for our dog, it’s all on one level. Would recommend The Red Lion in Bridge for evening meals. Kate (the owner) lives nearby and was extremely helpful with any questions.

Very clean and tidy. It was very comfortable with everthing you need. Lots of outside space and sunbeds. Very peaceful location with some great local walks. We had a great holiday here and would highly recommend this cottage which easily fit our family of 4 and a dog.

Goose Barn is a superior holiday accommodation that is just like a home from home. By far the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in over the years we have been holidaying in the UK. It is well equipped, comfy beds and tastefully furnished in a tranquil location. A brilliant place to stay to explore Kent. Kate’s hospitality is excellent. Thank you for the welcome pack too. We will be returning.

The property was perfect, especially for my dad who has mobility issues.

We had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy, showers amazing and kitchen living space was lovely. The welcome pack was very nice. We were lucky enough to have really good weather and really enjoyed using the outside space and garden, which was perfect for our little Westie. We had a fantastic time and we are looking forward to returning next year.

Fabulous stay.

Roomy but also cosy. Nice and peaceful location and an excellent base for visiting the south east. Very well stocked from extra toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and kitchens scales. Would be good for more information to be provided on this as could have packed a lot less! My only minor feedback is there was only a small freezer box and the fridge wouldn’t hold a lot of bigger bottles etc if the accommodation had 6 adults and in the warmer months could be a struggle. Communication from the owner was excellent along with a lovely welcome gift. Would def stay here again and recommend.

A very lovely place to stay, we all enjoyed it a huge amount, had to drag my wife away.

Will certainly be back. If any critic, would love to have an EV charging point to pay for, limited things in Kent it seems.

Situated centrally for visiting Kent’s coastal towns and the lovely historic Canterbury. Property is set in a very rural and quiet location where the only sound you can hear are the birds. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was outstanding.

It wasn’t the easiest to find down narrow country lanes but walking in through the door there was a real wow factor. The barn had everything we needed and was much larger than we expected. It was quality throughout and we can’t recommend it highly enough. It initially seemed a little remote but turned out to be well situated to get to all the main towns, beaches and attractions of this part of Kent. My wife and I will definitely be returning…and don’t let the idea of being part of a working farm put you off. It was as peaceful as you could possibly want and we were unaware of any farm activity throughout the stay. 5* all the way

The Goose Shed is a delightful holiday cottage.

It has everything you need and more. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and there is plenty of room for 6 people and a dog. The artwork on the walls is beautiful. The wonderful countryside of Kent is right at your doorstep from the cottage. Canterbury is a lovely city. Thank you very much Kate for all the lovely touches!

We had a really fantastic weekend at the Goose Shed, it was a real home from home, with everything you need for a comfy, cosy stay.

The whole of the accommodation was beautifully decorated and immaculately presented The kitchen and living areas were perfect for relaxing in, after a busy day out. The showers in the bathrooms were wonderful and the towels soft and luxurious, the bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfy. The outside space was lovely and perfect for our dog and for us. Kate the hostess was warm and friendly and provided a lovely welcome pack for us, which we all enjoyed. We are really looking forward to our return visit next year, and highly recommend a stay at this property.

Lovely spacious accommodation with comfy beds in a rural area and a good base to explore all of East Kent as everything within 30 min drive.

Thoughtful touches from owner, who was quick to respond to a query. Finding the property difficult for the first time as no details under ' Getting here' on Sykes page, which would be a quick fix and using postcode on satnav covers too wide an area. What3words might be more useful, particularly as property is approached on a single lane road in a rural area with no turning points.

The Goose Shed is a well thought out property, with beautiful furnishings, good design with home comforts put in place.

All three double bedrooms are fitted out with comfort in mind with nice bedding, quality beds and a hairdryer in each of the rooms. With a well equipped kitchen and a fab dining table, great for dining, but also good for board games. The sofas were comfortable and the tv a decent size. The en suite shower and over the bath shower were good and great outdoor seating. There isn’t anything negative to say about The Goose Shed only positive things. Would definitely recommend.
